What is the story behind Gemini Moon Ranch?

Gemini Moon Ranch is a one-of-a-kind historic wedding venue tucked into the beautiful De Luz hills of Temecula, California. Just minutes from Old Town Temecula and Temecula Wine Country, our private five-acre property offers couples a peaceful, romantic setting surrounded by mature oak trees, rustic architecture, natural landscapes, and truly unique spaces for both ceremonies and receptions.

Designed and built as the private home of renowned local artist-builder Robert “Bob” Morris, Gemini Moon Ranch is unlike a traditional banquet hall or standard wedding venue. The property is filled with character, handcrafted architectural details, vintage structures, winding pathways, wooded areas, and beautiful backdrops for wedding photography.

Couples can create a celebration that feels relaxed, personal, and entirely their own. The ranch is especially well-suited for intimate weddings, micro weddings, elopements, outdoor ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, engagement celebrations, and weekend wedding gatherings. Multiple indoor and outdoor spaces allow couples to design a wedding that flows naturally throughout the property.

Our outdoor areas beneath the oaks provide a beautiful setting for ceremonies, cocktail hours, dining, and receptions, while the historic buildings and rustic interiors offer additional gathering spaces and memorable photo locations. On-site accommodations are also available, making it possible for select members of the wedding party or family to stay at the ranch.

Gemini Moon Ranch is operated by the Gemini Moon Ranch Historical Preservation Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the property and the architectural and artistic legacy of Robert Morris. Events held at the ranch help support the preservation of this special piece of Temecula history.

A night to remember for everyone who walked on to this magical property!

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Gemini Moon Ranch. From the moment we arrived until the sun went down, the entire day felt truly magical.

The communication and care from the owners, Tracy and Peter. They were both incredibly responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. You could feel how much love and intention they have poured into this property, and that made our experience even more special.

Gemini Moon Ranch has such a peaceful, tranquil foundation that you can really make the experience your own. Rather than feeling like a traditional venue where everything is predetermined, the property gives you a beautiful canvas to create the event you envision. There is something incredibly grounding about being there.

Our ceremony began around 3:00 PM and carried us all the way into sunset. Throughout the afternoon, we could hear the birds chirping in the trees, creating this natural soundtrack that made the whole experience feel so peaceful. As the evening settled in, there was a sense of being completely held by the land and the location.

And then the twinkle lights came on.

The ambience was absolutely breathtaking. Between the lights, the trees, the changing evening sky, and the history woven into the property, Gemini Moon Ranch has a character that is difficult to replicate. It doesn’t feel manufactured or overly polished—it feels authentic, alive, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

There is a special kind of magic in a place that allows you to slow down, breathe, connect, and simply be present. Gemini Moon Ranch gave us exactly that.

We are so grateful to Tracy and Peter for sharing their beautiful property with us and for making the entire experience so seamless. If you’re looking for a venue that is peaceful, unique, customizable, and full of natural beauty and soul, we cannot recommend Gemini Moon Ranch highly enough. It truly is a special place

AMAZING event space - gorgeous and magical

I have had several events/workshops and birthday parties at Gemini Moon Ranch and as an event planner, host for more than 20 years, this has got to be one of my all time favorite places ever. Tracy is a great property owner and caretaker and attends to everything promptly and professionally. The land is so magical and the trees create a lot of shade and beauty - I swear it is a magical land with a lot of welcoming energy. The creek, swings, yoga deck, pool and all the amenities are so well laid out, along with the kitchen and all the artwork....I can't recommend this enough!
