They did a great job on my hair. It was so beautiful and stayed the whole day. They also did hair for two of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous. I am so happy with how it turned out.

The woman who coordinates with scheduling the wedding party was very friendly and forthcoming. The prices were good plus they provide mimosas and breakfast sandwiches for the bridal party (I believe they were actually brueggers bagels!). We had the salon entirely to ourselves other than a few people in another area getting their nails done. Unfortunately, my hair was not the right texture and consistency to obtain some of the hair styles I had wanted (I had hoped for curls but my hair just does not hold them), but I was happy with my hairstyle I got and it stayed all day. My bridesmaid also had their hair done there and they were all lovely! I paid to have a hair trial which is a HUGE recommendation I would give to any bride. It would have been a disaster trying to do my hair the day of without having messed around with ideas and styles beforehand. They are also a no tipping salon so that was one less expense to have to worry about!

As the bride, I was so pleased with my hair and makeup that was done by Amber from Gavin Scott Salon. However, there were 2 other hairstylists and one other makeup artist that came to work on my 5 bridesmaids. The makeup artist was very rushed and all of my girls had to touch up their own makeup. The hairstylists did very different looks (even though all the girls were supposed to look the same), you could tell which girls were curled and braided by which stylists.

I would totally recommend Amber for bridal hair/makeup, but would pass on using the other stylists/makeup artists again, unfortunately. Also, the stylists were late to arrive at the hotel and most (except Amber) almost seemed to be in bad moods...which was surprising to deal with on our special day.
