Bill with Gainesville City DJ was amazing!! He helped us with planning details before our wedding and went above and beyond to help us with paperwork for our venue. On our wedding day Bill made all the difference. We had many comments from our guests about how great the DJ was. He kept the flow going and communicated with us so well during that day. Three were a few things we didn't think to discuss with him before hand and my husband was able to communicate those things to Bill from across the room with just a look. It was almost as if he knew us better than we did by just a handful of conversations before that day. I would recommend Bill and Gainesville City DJ to anyone and everyone!

Had last minute changes and Bill was on top of them. No complaints. Lots of great ideas! Was the highlight of the night, had everyone dancing. Brought his assistant with him. She was amazing!!~ Book this pair. No regrets. Value amazing. Loved his garter toss super fun party idea. Ask him!!! He was dancing with the kids. His assistant helped with cake cutting. They both helped with set up. He played music during set up and break down. Amazing. Bill is the man! Can't wait to see what video he got on his go pro dj cam.

Bill was awesome. The website that they use to customize the music for your day was very easy to use and had many choices. They are very responsive to email and changes. I originally planned to have a friend perform the ceremony music, but then they had to have tonsillitis surgery. Bill had no problem adding the ceremony music. I also picked certain music to play during cocktail hour, but he suggested that he play it during dinner so I could listen to it too. It was an amazing suggestion and I'm glad he said something.

Everyone was dancing to the music and there was not one song I didn't like. He even traveled to Orlando from Gainesville. I would highly suggest using this DJ.

I was so happy when I found GCDJ, I worked with Jamie Allen and he was absolutely wonderful! All the way leading up to and during my wedding he was so helpful and fun, anytime I needed to update him on anything he was there to listen and help me with big choices, he also reassured us we were his top priority and even made it his duty to get us our food so that we did have a chance to eat which was wonderful! I would absolutely recommend GCDJ and Jamie for your wedding and other events!

Absolutely amazing! Jamie is truly a man that values his job. My wedding day was made perfect because how flexible Jamie was. May 3, 2014 was a rainy day, the reception was planned to be outside, well it ended up indoors and Jamie just went with the flow. We had an absolutely HORRIBLE caterer! She showed up late, chicken was complete chard and she was not professional in any means. Lets just say my family member where filling peoples glasses with water, passing out cake plates and serving. The waiters look like they came straight of the streets. So disappointing! But Jamie made it absolutely amazing! The rain subsided later in the evening and he noticed everyone was walking outside and enjoying the magnificent weather! We had the outside area already prepared so Jamie then announced lets move the party outside. We pulled back the tarp that covered that dance floor, gathered benches and chairs that lined the hall. He legitimately picked up(with help) and moved every piece of equipment outside. We danced and had such a great time! My grandfather even busted a move on Baby Got Back (he had know clue of the meaning just had a great time) . He also had such a high respect towards my Christian beliefs and even researched top artist of 2013-2014. He also bleep out any cursing and really appealed to my crowed. Thank you Jamie! You made are night absolutely amazing!

Our wedding was awesome and and our Dj Jaime played an intregal part in making it so awesome! Not only did we get a Dj when we hired him but his experience with so many weddings helped us with putting it all together! He worked with us on the play list, let us pick songs and had suggestions when we needed them! He helped make our speacial day perfect!

Apparently I got a new am improved DJ from the previous reviews. I had Jamie as my DJ and he was superb! The music was perfect I had many of my guest come up to me and say how great of a job he was doing! For months Before the wedding we discussed the timeline, music, and what I really wanted from him as a DJ and he by no means failed to deliver anything he promised! I am a giant 80's fan and he even came out and danced to footloose, it was incredibly entertaining. His prices were very reasonable he even though he had to drive to ocala for the wedding! If I had to do my wedding all over again I would hire him again in a minute. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed picking Gainesville city DJ as my DJ at the wedding.

Bill did an ok job. However, he was not very good at keeping the timing of the reception going. There were several embarassing mishaps because of his lack of coordination.

We had Jaime.i hires him back in November of 2012...met with him back in march and spoke with him over the phone many times. He royally messed my whole entire wedding up. Guests left due to him. He showed up 20 minutes before the wedding with no knowledge if his equipment would work with the vendors equipment. It didn't. He made my ceremony run 20 minutes behind the. Announced the maid of honor and groomsmen as the new mr and mrs walker!!! He then went straight into our first dance without even letting us have a seat!!! His order was all wrong and he was just an all around idiot.
