What a beautiful location this is. The staff at Gables & Gardens were fantastic. Each time I had a question it was answered promptly. I could have not been more pleased with the service, and venue.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding day. From the detail that went into the design of the barn (lanterns, glass door/wall that opens) all the way down to the furniture (chairs, tables, bridal suite design), the character and charm is unmatched. The landscaping around the entire place was also breathtaking, perfectly curated for our wedding. The cabin next to the venue was very convenient, we used it for hair and makeup. Overall, absolutely stunning to hold your special day. Leonie and Elena were beyond helpful every step of the way including the day of the wedding, very flexible and accommodating people. 10/10 recommend!!!

We had the pleasure of working with the Gables and Gardens team as we planned our late October 2023 wedding. This area of the Adirondacks is near and dear to our hearts as it is where my husband and I first met- so it was only fitting to having a wedding in the mountains of where it all began for us.

Leonie and the rest of the Gables and Gardens team were extremely flexible in order to make our wedding day a dream come true! They were easily accessible and answered any and all questions we have leading up to our wedding day. The venue alone is so beautifully decorated with the lights and lanterns, that we only added a couple of other small touches to bring our vision to life. It was affordable and within our budget; so many things were included in their base price that many other venues did not even include. The 'a la carte' menu was also a bonus as we were able to easily rent a few things without paying for it ourselves and hauling it across multiple states. Our guests were absolutely in love with the venue and the staff, they had nothing but positive things to say about it.

Without hesitation we would recommend Gables and Gardens as an all encompassing venue that is cozy, clean, modern (yet rustic), family friendly and absolutely beautiful!

This venue is so beautiful. Surrounded by miles and miles of trees, the background looks incredible during the fall time. What really stuck out to us though, were the people. They are the kindest and most helpful people we have ever met. We are so grateful.
The morning before our wedding, I got a message from our bartender that sent me into a panic. She informed me they didn’t have the license needed to legally supply alcohol at our wedding. I had sent everything needed months prior. I called Leonie from this venue in a panic. We didn’t know if we should cancel. She was SO helpful. She started calling all of the local bartenders within Granville to find someone in such short notice. Within an hour, we had a new bartender.
Anything we needed, was accommodated. We asked to switch a few tables around last minute, no issue at all. They even supplied us with the beautiful arbor to use in the picture.

Aside from how nice and picturesque the property is, the real reason I'm writing this review is for the owner and staff. Leonie, who runs Gables and Gardens, consistently went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was great. We had our bartender cancel on us a day before our wedding due to something they should've taken care of weeks ago. Instead of leaving us out to dry, Leonie called all her contacts and local bartenders to see if anyone could possibly accommodate. Luckily, she found an amazing mother/daughter team from the local restaurant, On the Rocks Pub. Throughout the wedding day she checked on us consistently to make sure we if we needed anything. She assisted the catering and set up teams, and was able to help with anything she could. We really can't say enough about her and her staff. Anyone looking for a venue should seriously consider Gables & Gardens if they want some peace of mind regarding all of the little things that go wrong on the days leading up to your wedding. Leonie was above and beyond helpful to my son and daughter-in-law for their recent wedding. Due to failure of a bartending vendor to do what was required, my son was noticed THE DAY BEFORE his wedding they had no bar. You can imagine the panic and disappointment. Leonie put my son in touch with another vendor that had what was needed and remarkably had an opening the very next day to do our event !!! On the Rocks Pub provided an amazing 24 hr miracle and stepped in to be our bartending company. Great teamwork!!!

When we first started the process of looking for a venue I had somewhat of an idea of what we wanted. We were looking for an outdoor barn setting, with the option to move inside incase the weather didn’t cooperate. We only viewed a couple of places before Gardens & Gables. When we got there, I knew this is where I wanted to get married. The amazing scenery, beautiful barn, and friendly staff is all we needed to see. Annora, was beyond accommodating and flexible with our busy schedule. Owners Leonie & Todd were also so great to work with along with the rest of their staff. As our date approached and we went back to the venue to go over things we met Phelcon. My Aunt had passed away a couple of months before the wedding, and it was a very special way of incorporating her into our special day. Not only did Phelcon mean something a little more special to us, but he made our pictures even more beautiful, and our guest thought it was the coolest thing.

Gardens & Gables isn’t only affordable, but they included things not all other venues did. Not just the tables, chairs, string lights, and barn door drapes but the personable and friendliness of their business. I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of. All the tables, chairs, ceremony sitting, and barrels were exactly how we wanted them.

You really do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a family/kid friendly, cozy, clean, modern, beautiful location to get married we 10/10 recommend Gardens & Gables. There’s no doubt in my mind that I would do the entire day over and over again, because they truly made our dream wedding come true.

As far as suggestions I would recommend the follow: Place for the guys to get ready, more lighting outside by the firepit, Wi-Fi that goes through the entire barn ( I only say this because I struggled to get Wi-Fi while getting ready in the bridal suite, which can make it a little difficult if vendors are trying to get ahold of you), and having access to the venue earlier in the morning. I will say that I was able to come about 1.5 hours before, but I think it would be easier to have the venue from somewhere from 8am-11pm.

Everything we had hoped and planned for was able to happen at Gardens & Gables. This is truly a beautiful place to start your journey as a married couple.

Gables and Gardens gave us our dream wedding! Everything was so beautiful and perfect. They were so easy to work with and very flexible to help us customize some things and have everything run so smoothly. We got so many compliments, I definitely recommend having your big day here!

The Gables & Gardens team was so wonderful and easy to work with. Firstly, with the owners also running a nursery/florist shop on the same property, we didn’t have to make arrangements with another vendor with was super convenient and helpful. All of our floral arrangements were STUNNING. Leonie made sure to respond promptly to any emails we sent with questions and was completely flexible with anything you e wanted to do. Fortunately, we snuck our ceremony in right before the rain on our day, but I know things would have gone smoothly regardless of the weather. HIGHLY recommend this venue for any wedding or event!

This venue was the perfect choice for us! We really wanted a rustic feel for the wedding, and Gables & Gardens was able to provide this with all the amenities of a modern event location. There were plenty of bathrooms on-site, a beautiful bridal suite to get ready in, and an attached kitchen for our caterer! There was even the added bonus of being able to get all of our flowers directly from Mandy's Spring Nursery, run by the same people! We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
