Jose the Party Maker truly made our wedding unforgettable!! He was an absolute pleasure to work with the entire process - always very responsive and provided good feedback/suggestions when needed. We are very particular on our music and Jose blew us out of the water. The dance floor was filled with guests the entire night! The transitioning from one song to the next was always seamless and upbeat. Not only was Jose responsible for the music at the reception, he also provided the tunes for the ceremony and welcome party. Jose was flawless! From the second I received my first response back from Jose the Party Maker nearly one year before our wedding was to take place, I knew we had to hire him. Besides the fact that ALL the destination wedding brides recommended him and only him, the ease in dealing with him and the incredibly short turnaround time in his responses to my rambling questions was unheard of!
Jose was by far the easiest, nicest, most thorough and most professional we worked with while planning our destination wedding in the Bahamas. We originally booked him for just his DJ services but then throughout the months leading up to the wedding, hired dance lighting, a cigar roller, PA system and other random things through him and his company.
My husband and I could not have been happier with our choice - or more impressed! He went above and WAY beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. He let me be picky and specific with my ideas and requests and he never called me 'Bridezilla' once! :)
Our wedding day was PERFECT. From his PA services to the wedding reception at Luciano's, and dance following, he and Sue (Luciano's) worked together to make this the most memorable day of our lives. No one, at any point, left the dance floor. Our guests danced the night away under the stars with perfect songs, perfect music (starting at dinner) and continuing on until the last song of the night. Our family and friends raved about Jose and said it was the most fun wedding reception they've ever been to.
Jose is so laid back, so friendly, SO easy to work with-- All while being a perfectionist! (Which any bride can appreciate!)

As soon as we got engaged we already knew who our DJ would be. Jose was the first person we booked. He is without a doubt the best DJ on the island. His ability to read a crowd is unmatched and our guests literally never left the dance floor. A week before the wedding we spoke with him and he played all of the Greek songs to make sure that he had the right ones selected so that there were no surprises on our wedding day. He is also such a kind guy and a real pleasure to work with. I would not trust another DJ the way that I trust Jose. He is truly the best.

I had the absolute privilege of attending a few events that Jose DJ'd while I lived in the Bahamas, including a friend's wedding. Although, I've not necessarily had experience with the booking portion of hiring Jose, I know that my friend and her now husband were very happy withJose from start to finish. I especially enjoy how he's able to have fun with the guest while remaining professional. The music is fun and well thought out. Not a moment drags when his music is playing.

If you are looking for a DJ to take your Wedding or party to the next level. Take my advice and go with Freedom Sound. I've been to many parties, weddings and functions that have used their services. Whatever Generation or style of music, they know exactly what to play to make it moment you will never forget. For my Wedding, DJ Jose provided the Music, MC & DJ Equipment. Even though the Wedding and reception were held in different locations. They worked along with everyone to make my Wedding day go smooth and have a rocking party. BTW i got married on the 6th of May, 2006 but the site wont let me use that date.

We'd been to a few weddings at which Freedom Sound Productions (Jose) was the DJ so when it came time to select vendors for our wedding we knew we wanted Jose. Our wedding guests were equally from the US and The Bahamas and they spanned several generations. Jose's experience with local events and destination weddings keeps him in the loop of what music is popular in many cultures. His Spanish background was a plus since the grooms family is Cuban.

Something about the "DJ booth" attracts kids and Jose is great at letting them "help" him while not interrupting the great music.

One tip is to listen to his recommendations. He has tons of experience. I tried to save a few dollars and supply my own speakers and music for a pre-reception at a different location and it was a disaster until Jose saved me since he arrived early to set-up.

Jose is amazing! He was super helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process, helping to confirm ceremony music, cocktail hour performers and more. I knew instantly I would be able to rely on him to make the night perfect. We danced the entire night and everyone at our wedding had a blast. I highly recommend Jose for any event and I am SO happy we chose him as our wedding DJ!
