We did a lot of researching when it came to choosing a photographer. We looked at styles, how they used light, and how "posed" the pictures looked (we wanted less posed and more candid because we literally don't stop laughing/smiling.) And we found Misty. That's when we stopped looking. Y'all, she was personable and friendly from the very beginning and her bright, colorful, fun photos were exactly what we were looking for. She is very communicative, which is important to us because not hearing from someone who has such an important part in our day makes us nervous. She is down to earth, was willing to go out in extremely cold snowy weather for our engagement photos, then brave the middle of July summer heat for our wedding!
Our pictures took me right back to our wedding day, we're so excited we get to relive it over and over again with our gorgeous photos.
Photography was the most important thing to us for that exact reason, we knew we'd keep looking back at our photos to remember our wedding year after year, and we definitely chose the best photographer and are so lucky she took the time to get to know us and who we are and what was important to us. She captured us and our entire wedding in the most beautiful way.
She created a timeline we were all happy with, made us feel calm and not at all rushed day of, and captured every little detail we asked and then some! She is so creative and amazing at what she does!! Save yourself some time and worry and contact Misty. You will be so happy you did!

Misty at Folly Photography was absolutely incredible. She flawlessly photographed my September 2nd wedding. I cannot say enough good things about her. My husband and I are not “picture” people and do not often take photos and often feel a tad uncomfortable in front of a camera. She immediately put us at ease and explained all of the processes. She even suggested poses because we had no clue what we were doing! Since we were out-of-state, we did a few phone calls before the big day. Working with Misty was so natural and easy. She put together a timeline of the day so we could see how the formal photographs would be done and was extremely helpful in all other aspects of my day. As someone who has never planned a wedding before, much less an out-of-state one, her expertise and knowledge was invaluable. We got the photographs a couple weeks after the wedding and they were breathtaking! I could not have been happier. My friends and family raved about the pictures. I am so lucky and honored to have had Misty as my photographer. One of the best decisions for that day!
