Folktale Venue

Located in Mount Pleasant, Texas, Folktale is a wedding and event venue equipped to accommodate any special occasion. Situated on ten acres with a large one-acre pond, this historic 1800s farmhouse is sure to enchant. The property serves as a refuge for wildlife native to this area. During your visit, you'll likely befriend one of Folktale's many hummingbirds, butterflies, swallowtails, and on occasion, our six white-tailed deer!

While we are currently expanding, the venue is primarily outdoor, with a small indoor space (farmhouse) for lounging, kitchen amenities, and bathroom access. There are three primary packages (please see pricing section) with additional add-ons such as event planning, rehearsal dinner space, food and beverage options, and more.
