Folk Filmes: a family.

Nick is our 2 year old son, and he is part of Folk Filmes because so much of our inspiration comes from him. A happy, sweet and creative boy: in his hand, the dish becomes a steering wheel, the remote control… a telephone. With this source of imagination, we are illuminated whenever we create a wedding film, a maternity session or when we shot the birth of a baby. In these times it is inevitable to remember that we’ve also lived those moments, so transforming and sensitive, in our lives.

Our favorite place in the world is our home. Here, we sit at the table and, while breakfast (our favorite meal), we celebrate the fact that our son slept all night long; or, when that does not happen, we celebrate other things, even though we have not slept very well…

We love being a family. We love having each other. And it’s amazing to be a part of so many people’s lives, at the day they become family too, or when the family starts to increase.

By the way, the word Folk means people, race. It’s more than a musical style, or ethnic clothing… it’s a lifestyle of belonging.
Another thing we love to do is to travel around the world. So no matter where you are, we will come to you to share good times.
