Mike and Lindsay were awesome. Amazing photos, we loved that they were light and happy compared to some of the heavy/brooding edits we’ve seen. They were a breeze to work with in rescheduling our wedding from June 2020 to a less covid-y time. Photos came back super fast and they were so fun to hang out with on the actual day. We would recommend them to literally anyone!

Lindsey and Mike were such a pleasure to work with! Their photographs were spectacular and they made us all feel so comfortable on the big day even though we did not have an engagement session with them previously. I was a little nervous since my husband usually takes a while to loosen up but they did an excellent job putting everyone at ease and capturing some beautiful photographs.

Lindsey and Mike were amazing to work with. They were very responsive and very professional. But they also were down to earth and easy to joke with. They were also fast and efficient. We have not stopped looking at our photos since we got them back. We are amazed by the shots that they took. We loved that Lindsey would show us photos that she took that she was excited about during wedding. You could feel her passion. There was nothing that they missed. We hope to work with them again in the future. They really made our day that much more special. We can’t praise them enough.

Words can’t even express how AMAZING Focus Bay Photography is. Booking them for my wedding was the easiest decision I made during my entire planning process, and I would recommend them to anyone. Not only is their portfolio amazing, Lindsey and Mike are amazing people who will make sure your day goes smoothly and that every moment is captured beautifully.

Great communication and organizational skills were must-have attributes of my vendors. From the initial point of contact to the day my wedding gallery was delivered, my emails and text messages were always answered within an appropriate amount of time (I can be a little impatient, so this is saying a LOT). Lindsey and Mike ALWAYS delivered and followed-up on their promises, and when you are planning a wedding and trying to keep track of 4+ vendors, invitations, decorations, etc etc etc, it is so refreshing to have a vendor who is 100% on top of their game! They are able to recommend locations for your engagement shoot and will fill out all the necessary forms to obtain permission to take photos there. A few months before your wedding day, they will send you forms to fill out, which will help them organize the photography schedule on the day-of, and the forms were super easy to follow and to-the-point. Their organization made it very easy for me to remain organized as well!

I can’t review a photographer without discussing the pictures themselves. After stalking their instagram and their portfolio, it was apparent that the quality of their pictures are PHENOMENAL. We loved EVERY SINGLE picture in our gallery, and when there’s over 500 pictures, you would think that there would be at least 1 that you don’t care for, but NOPE, every single picture was amazing. Also, let’s be honest, most of us are NOT models. My husband and I needed all the direction and instruction we could get when it came to posing, smiling, hand placement, eyeball placement, you get the point, but thankfully Mike and Lindsey are absolute pros at giving direction, and I promise you and your spouse will look like models if you choose Focus Bay Photography as your wedding photographer.

I was pleasantly surprised by how caring and thoughtful Lindsey and Mike were. Honestly, if it weren’t for them I don’t think my day would have gone as smoothly as it did. Examples of how they exemplified this include: holding my bouquet or drink whenever I needed to free my hands (climbing in and out of a golf cart in a wedding gown is quite difficult), offering to run small errands on the day of, making sure my hair wasn’t stuck in my armpit (gross, I know, but it’s the reality of having long hair - brides beware), taking on the role of my day-of-coordinator when she was busy doing something else, I could go on and on and on. Bottom line is, Mike and Lindsey were a huge part of my wedding day in ways I would have never expected, and I am SO thankful that Focus Bay Photography was there on my big day to capture all of our special moments!

Lindsey and Mike were clutch on our wedding day. Lindsey's communication in email and on the phone was clear and helpful leading up to the big day. On the wedding day, Lindsey helped to keep me calm, cool & collected and always assured me we were on track with time and didn't need to rush. Mike kept the group laughing, and Lindsey gave very clear direction during all of the wedding party and family photos, which we really needed. They kept us constantly moving, which gave us time to do a lot of cool sunset and vineyard photos at our venue. They captured all of the photos we requested, and were very easy and natural to work with all day/night. My husband and I both thought Lindsey and Mike were a great duo and bickered just like my husband and I do, which kept us giggling and calm during sunset photos. As for photo quality, our sneak peek photos were great, as were the photos in the final wedding gallery, and this was their first time at this venue! Highly recommend.

Lindsey and Mike, we can’t thank you enough for capturing our special day. Being someone who dislikes having pictures taken, they did such a great job helping me feel at ease. They are incredibly organized and communication was super fast, which, as a bride who loves schedules and timelines, I truly appreciated. Lindsey and Mike are absolute professionals. One of the great things about photographers is that you can actually know how you mesh before the wedding day, something you don't get with most vendors. We were a little nervous that taking our engagement photos would be awkward but Lindsey and Mike really put us at ease in a way that I think only a couple that works together can. On our wedding day, they were extremely organized even though we arrived a little late to the venue (they were on time and began taking venue detail shots before we arrived). We received all the photos we could have wanted, and more. For their quality and style of photography, I also noticed that their prices were a great value compared with other similar photographers. There is not enough characters to begin to describe how much I love Focus Bay Photography! Form my first interaction with Mike and Lindsey I knew they were going to be our photographers! Mike and Lindsey were so professional and kind throughout the whole process! Even on our wedding day they took all my crazy ideas and made them a reality! Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning! Breath taking! I know I am biased but EVERYONE has been raving about our photos! The bridal salon I bought my dress even shared some photos and called me swooning over our photos!
