We hired Rusty Lemmon for our Key West, Audubon House wedding — what an amazing touch!! We had Rusty play/sing during cocktail hour and dinner for our wedding, and his extraordinary talents truly elevated the experience and event to another level. He was professional to work with and added a beautiful and special element to our day. He offered a wide catalog of songs that we could choose from, and delivered exactly the vibe we envisioned.

DJ Buggy & Rusty!! You two are everything! I could not have pictured our wedding with anyone else. From the planning process to the actual day! True Magic! My husband and I are very low key and we trusted the professionals when it came to what they do best! From our ceremony with Rusty and our reception with both of them, I could cry thinking about how amazing it was. I wish the night would have never ended and you all could have continued for hours! Thank you both for being who you are and creating the most incredible environment for our wedding, the dance floor was never empty for start to finish! Much love for you BOTH!

Rusty was amazing! He played our ceremony and cocktail hour. He is super talented and created an unforgettable atmosphere at our party. He is well-known in Key West and came highly recommended by our wedding venue as well. His extensive playlist includes a ton of 90s-2000s hits, rock, and country, which was right up our gen Y alley. As part of his package, Rusty offers to learn two unique songs that are not on his playlist. We wanted to go in a non-traditional direction with our first dance song which was originally a rock song. Rusty transformed it into an incredible acoustic version that was unique to us and made our first dance memorable. Our only mistake was not hiring him for more time.

We had Rusty Lemmon and DJ Buggy perform all of the music for our wedding ceremony and reception, and we could not have been more blown away! When we found out that our outstanding wedding planner, Kayla, had hired them for her own wedding all the way up in Ohio, we knew that we needed to get these guys for our own in town. They are the nicest people, super responsive/professional, and so incredibly talented at what they do.

Rusty Lemmon learned every single ceremony song we requested to sing/play on the guitar, and then went above and beyond with flawless renditions of Third Eye Blind, our favorite band. His voice is amazing and his guitar skills are out of this world. To say that every guest was impressed is a major understatement!

DJ Buggy, as you can probably tell from his other reviews, is the opposite of a typical "wedding DJ." I know how cheesy this is to say, but he is truly an expert "crowd reader". He nailed all of our song requests, and knew what to play and when. Needless to say, the dance floor was never not jam-packed and extremely energetic!

So a huge kudos and thanks to DJ Buggy & Rusty Lemmon - they took my OCD emails, requests, "do-not-plays", and all of our own music ideas in stride - and over delivered on all of it. The performance these guys put on is priceless, and we would 100% hire again and recommend that you check them out for your own wedding, or any party for that matter!

My only regret was that we didn't get a chance to hear Rusty play our cocktail hour as we were taking our sunset pictures. Our guests raved about him and loved his music at the cocktail hour. Rusty also learned Ed Sheeren's Perfect and performed it live for our first dance. We asked him to change a few of the words around to make it our own song and he absolutely nailed it! We cant wait to go back to Key West and see him live again. The combination of Rusty and DJ Buggy offers a wedding party the best of both worlds of music. We highly recommend Rusty and DJ Buggy and look no further for your South Florida wedding entertainment.

Would highly recommend Rusty for any weddings, he performed Solo at our wedding in June 2017 and was fantastic from start to finish! We were very wary booking our vendors as we travelled from Scotland to Islamorada for our wedding and did not want a typical wedding DJ! Rusty did everything we asked of him and more, he is an extremely talented singer and guitarist and played all our requested songs as and when we has asked for them! He made our wedding feel so comfortable and relaxed, even participating in my dads speech (which was very last minute I believe) and performing with my brother! He even played a few traditional Scottish songs for us at the end of the night and made our wedding everything we could have hope for! Thanks Rusty!

In 2015, my fiancé & I were walking the beach at southern most point when we first heard the lead vocalist, Rusty, playing solo. It was serendipitous that we both looked at each other & decided to stop to listen.
Rusty's passionate & warm voice won us over immediately and we booked him on the spot!
So grateful that all the musicians were highly reliable & professional on multiple occasions. We definitely recommend this band!

Rusty was highly recommended by our wedding planner and thankfully we listened to her! What a perfect rehearsal dinner we had, the music was AMAZING and every guest loved him! He is so friendly, nice, professional and a breeze to work with. He already had such a broad list of songs that he knew so we did not even have to request that he learn any other songs. We picked which songs we wanted and he delivered! The best part is that he let my cousin (who is a guitar instructor in Connecticut) play a few songs while Rusty sang. The duo was incredible and it was such a memorable moment to watch my cousin play in front of all our friends and family. We SO appreciate it!! My only regret is trying to negotiate price, (LOL) being a real estate agent it comes naturally but Rusty is worth EVERY penny, BOOK HIM!! :))

Rusty made our reception! He and his bandmates are extremely talented and they thrilled and delighted all of our guests. They played all of the types of music we wanted and they packed the dance floor. He is very professional and knows the flow of a wedding reception including dinner, first dances and how to get the party going!
