We are so happy to have chosen Amanda at Flora&Spice to do our florals! She really knocked it out of the park with arrangements and bouquets, and her work totally exceeded my AND my husband's expectations!

We had a short call prior to booking her, and I gave her a general feel for what I wanted - asymmetric bouquet with lots of pops of colors (mauve, blues, golden yellows, oranges). She sent me back a mood board, which looked way better than what I described. She was also very kind, and also was able to work within my budget after I initially thought I wanted an arch and decided to scale down with potted arrangements instead. I think the photos speak for themselves, but I loved how she incorporated the fall leaves and even raspberries in the ceremony flowers. I'm not going to lie, my husband loves fruit and we definitely had a few raspberries when we brought the arrangements home afterwards. :)

We could not have been happier with booking Amanda for our wedding, and hope we have more opportunities to work with her!

Amanda created my floral vision for my wedding flawlessly. She incorporated my ideas and flower preferences with her impeccable styling and made the wedding venue come to life. She created displays for the wedding ceremony site with two large arrangements in beautiful baskets and a gorgeous arrangement for the welcome sign. These arrangements incorporated pampas grass and pastel florals including proteas to go with my wildflower/Spring theme. She added flowers to the wooden wall that served as the backdrop to our bar area. Beautiful bud vases adorned the cocktail tables, dessert area, bar, and various other locations around the venue. As this was a venue created from scratch on my family's property, the flowers were really critical to add color and pull the space together. Amanda's work did just that and more. The wedding party looked wonderful with their bouquets and boutineers as well as flower crown for the flower girl. Green garlands of olive adorned the long tables and created a beautiful dinner-scape. Bridal party bouquets were placed on the round tables in vases Amanda provided to be enjoyed by the guests for the evening following the ceremony. Amanda was so easy to work with and made discussing the flowers/greenery fun and easy. She arrived early to help set up the venue and even went above and beyond to help attach grass bundles I had prepared to the ceremony aisle chairs. She stayed until after the ceremony to help move arrangements from the ceremony site to the sweetheart table. I highly recommend her!

Amanda did a beautiful job with the florals at our wedding! She has great taste and a true gift for combining different textures and colors into lovely arrangements. We aren't local to SLO (where we had our wedding), so we didn't meet Amanda in person until a couple days before our wedding, but she was easy to communicate with on the phone and via email. She is super nice and easy to work with (and was extremely patient with my indecisiveness along the way). She also did an awesome job incorporating the ideas I had and the containers I provided into beautiful designs. Everyone loved the bouquets and succulent boutonnieres, my hanging arrangement idea turned out even better than I imagined, and I learned the names of my favorite flowers in the process. Our cake also looked lovely with fresh florals on it, and our ceremony draping looked beautiful with the florals Amanda added. I'd definitely recommend Flora and Spice to any bride who wants a florist they can count on -- not only to have great artistic ability on their own, but also to be able to flesh out the ideas you have.
