Genee is the absolute best at what she does! My girls and I all looked great and the makeup lasted all through the hot, humid day. She knows her worth, but keeps her pricing reasonable. My favorite thing about working with Genee was her calming presence on such an emotional morning! She also has a very light touch; you will feel relaxed and pampered in her chair. I am so glad that I booked Genee for my wedding, and will definitely use her again if I need my makeup done.

Geneè did my make up yesterday for my bestie’s wedding. She had a spotlight but we short circuited a fuse coz the heater was on too. I’ve worked with other make up artists that check in with you on the color patch test and also progress of the make up. We were indoors but let me tell you, when I got out, I looked like a ghost. A whole ghost. I was 3 shades lighter, full of bronzer and highlights. The make up did not age well through the day. I don’t look forward to the photos or videos of the day because I looked like a clown the entire day. I’m sure everyone thought I did my make up myself but honestly, it was so bad. God! I’ll take this as a sign to learn how to do my own make up because this was the WORST! I wish we did it outdoors with outdoor lighting but I understand her wanting a steady place for her make up kit. But I looked horrendous and will always be the terrible looking two shades too light over-highlighted maid of honor in my bestie’s wedding. So I didn’t take pics of the day. And how I knew it was bad - she didn’t take photos or videos of me unlike the other girls 🫠😭😭😭😭😭😭 We went outside to check on the make up and she said it works. I told her I trusted her 🫠🫠🫠 but she didn’t carry a mirror to let me see. And to think I recommended her to my bestie. If I could turn back time, I wouldn’t have her on the list. Highly don’t recommend. She’s really nice, but I wish she caught her mistake early. Next time I’m getting someone to work on me with natural light coz 🫠🫠🫠🫠 I take a lot of videos and photos for social media but did not because of this. I like her as a person and everything but this wasn’t right
