Annie Floro is the Director of Events for the Flagstaff House. Annie plans and coordinates an array of events from intimate reservations for two to spectacular wedding celebrations and high-end corporate dinners.
Annie moved to Boulder from the picturesque town of Weston, Vermont in 2009 to attend CU Boulder where she received her bachelor’s degree. While attending CU she got her start at the Flagstaff House and was simultaneously the president of the largest collegiate ski and snowboard club in the nation. Her background of competitive alpine racing and overseeing a large organization helped shape her excellence in time management and attention to detail. Inevitably she found herself in the perfect position at the Flagstaff House.
Since 2011 Annie has worked at the Flagstaff House, first as Lead Hostess then as Event Coordinator starting in 2016. She currently manages all large reservations and private bookings for the Flagstaff House while overseeing social media channels.
When not at the Flagstaff House Annie likes to explore the multitude of restaurants in the Boulder and Denver areas, visit her family in Vermont and Maine, ski all over the country and be outdoors whenever possible.
Executive Chef Chris Royster, a Zagat 30 Under 30 recipient and Food Network CHOPPED Champion, came from a family who appreciated good food. Growing up in Hyde Park, NY, his mother had a cake decorating business when he was young and his father and grandfathers, being avid hunters, taught him to hunt and fish.
Chef Chris makes changes to the menu daily, shaped by the products purveyors bring to his door. Cooking, fishing and traveling (and trying new foods while traveling) are his favorite things to do.
In 2018 Chris Royster became Executive Chef and Partner at the Flagstaff House Restaurant. When not creating in the kitchen Chris can be found on the other side of the table, enjoying a meal made by other artists, or out on a Colorado adventure.
Adam Monette is the General Manager at the Flagstaff House and is part of the third generation of the Monette family. He is the eldest son of Executive Consultant Mark Monette and nephew to Managing Partner Scott Monette.
Adam has worked just about all of the various positions offered at the Flagstaff House, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. In December of 2014 Adam assumed the role of Dining Room Manager, and in 2018 was made a Partner. Adam takes great pride in the family business and enjoys exceeding customer expectations.
When not pacing the floors of the Flagstaff House Adam can be found dining out on the town, training for and racing triathlons, or spending time with friends and family.
Professional Network & Endorsements
2 EndorsementsThis is a great venue for small intimate weddings. I have photographed weddings here on 3 separate occasions and the ceremony site is gorgeous with such a great view and the staff is top notch. There are other locations just a short walk from the restaurant for more great photos.
It's always a pleasure when we have the chance to work with this company. We highly recommend!
