We decided to have our wedding with a relatively quick turnaround time (6 months)…and the Flagstaff House was nothing short of incredible getting everything squared away and prepared for our day!
Annie was beyond any event coordinator I’ve ever worked with. She is friendly, responsive, helpful, and exactly who we needed when going through this process.
The Flagstaff House is known for their remarkable food & drinks — and they absolutely did not disappoint for our wedding. The gluten free, dairy free cake was the talk of the after party! No one could believe it was GF/DF.
The views from the deck were exactly what we envisioned and the dining room was perfect for our small-ish wedding.
The only couple of issues we had were with bringing our own sound system in for the ceremony (would’ve been helpful to have a solid option there) & the air conditioning not really cutting it on the hot June day.

We truly cannot say enough incredible things about The Flagstaff House Restaurant and their amazing team. From the moment we first contacted them about a tour, to our grand exit on our wedding day, our experience was nothing short of exceptional.
We had several guests tell us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Multiple people said it felt like a Michelin-star dining experience paired with the most breathtaking setting imaginable.
The wine and food deserves its own standing ovation. The pairings were thoughtful, elevated, and perfectly curated, and our guests are still talking about it months later.
Beyond the food and wine, the staff made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Every single person we interacted with on the day and during the planning process was professional, warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect.
In summary, The Flagstaff House didn’t just host our wedding — they elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. If you are considering this venue for a wedding or special event, know that you are choosing absolute excellence in every possible way. We would relive this day here a thousand times over. -

Flagstaff House was an incredible place to get married. The views over Boulder were stunning and made our ceremony feel unforgettable. The food and wine were exceptional, and many guests said it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. The indoor/outdoor spaces were elegant and perfect for an intimate celebration.

Our daytime wedding ceremony at Flagstaff House was absolutely wonderful. I booked the venue without ever seeing it in person, and it ended up being the best decision I could have made. Annie, the venue coordinator, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. I never felt the need to hire an outside wedding planner because the restaurant handled so much, including the food, cake, chairs, linens, table numbers, and overall venue setup.
Having both the ceremony and reception in one place made the day incredibly easy for our guests, and everything flowed perfectly from one moment to the next. On the day of the wedding, the space was beautiful. Our guests loved taking photos with the mountains as the backdrop.
I am so glad we chose a daytime ceremony because it created exactly the vibe I hoped for and allowed me to enjoy the entire day with family, friends, and my husband. And I will admit that it was a relief to get the most nerve-wracking part (walking down the aisle) done early in the day.
Flagstaff House allowed us to incorporate some special touches into our ceremony, such as having a live painter. Annie found the perfect spot for the painter both during the ceremony and reception and I really appreciate the venue letting me incorporate this special element seamlessly. Flagstaff House also carried a special wine from a winery in Canada my husband and I had visited while dating which was a very fun surprise. We were able to incorpaote this wine into our cake cutting.
Flagstaff House made our wedding truly special, and I am so grateful for the experience. -

The Flagstaff House made the entire wedding planning process so easy & took away all the stress. They handled every detail perfectly, all I had to do what hire a harpist, florist & a photographer. The food was AMAZING, all our guests loved. The Flagstaff House was able to accommodate dietary restrictions so there was an option for everyone. The cake was also phenomenal & decorated beautifully with the flowers we provided. Every aspect of the event was planned perfectly & we knew we were in good hands with nothing to worry about on the day of our wedding. The value for what we got was amazing. I loved that the pricing structure was very clear so that we could plan the exact cost based on guest counts & alcohol provided. Annie, the event planner, made the entire experience enjoyable because we knew that she had everything under control. -

We had such a laid back, wonderful experience working with them on the tours, specific requests, day of coordinating with vendors and food, they handled everything for us to perfection. The food was spectacular, not even considering a meal for 100 people. It was just the most beautiful, special space with the best people. Would recommend every single time. -

Annie and the whole staff at Flagstaff House were amazing. Communication was professional and prompt. Annie is such a seasoned wedding coordinator. She was so thoughtful in all the details, reminding us of things we missed, and making sure everything was perfect. The venue was beautiful! The views are gorgeous and everything inside (table settings, windows, furniture) was great. The food was also delicious. We had so many guests come up to us afterwards telling us what an amazing meal they had. I've often associated big events with mediocre catered food, but this place was exceptional. Annie and everyone there did such a good job of making sure everything went smoothly. They were so kind and professional. -

Flagstaff House was incredible! They were such a great venue. Annie was our event planner, and she was perfect - professional, friendly, and so helpful helping everything run smoothly day of. The venue itself was beautiful and did a great job helping us plan for any weather scenario. The food was INCREDIBLE - each of the dishes were delicious and the cake was just as beautiful as it was delicious. It ended up being a surprisingly budget friendly option as well - although the price for food is higher than most places, the fact that the restaurant provided everything needed for the lunch including custom menus, the cake, and all of the linens/chairs/tables/table numbers/etc. meant that the total price ended up being a great value. -

From our very first contact with The Flagstaff House through to our wedding day, the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. Working directly with Annie was an absolute dream. She was consistently kind, patient, organized, and incredibly caring. As someone who's very detail-oriented, I truly appreciated that Annie didn't let anything go overlooked and was always incredibly responsive to my many questions. By our wedding day, she truly felt like a friend.
Everyone warns you that something will inevitably go wrong, but Annie and The Flagstaff House ensured our day was executed flawlessly. Our summer daytime wedding, with approximately 60 guests, was simply perfect. The venue's layout was ideal, allowing for a breathtaking ceremony on the terrace, a comfortable cocktail hour for mingling, an intimate lunch with cherished family speeches, and a lively space for dancing to cap off the celebration.
Our guests are still raving about the exceptional service, wonderful staff, incredible food, and delicious drinks. If you're considering a wedding in the Boulder area, I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to The Flagstaff House today – it was honestly one of the best days and experiences of our lives.

We can not say enough good things about the Flagstaff House. Overall, our wedding planning process didn't feel stressful, and I attribute that in large part to the decision to have it at the Flagstaff House.
The venue is absolutely beautiful and the food the amazing, but the staff and service is what sets it apart. Annie, the events director, goes above and beyond to help. She is very responsive, thorough, and kind. The wedding itself was flawless thanks to the entire staff and their impeccable service.

Our wedding at Flagstaff House Restaurant was truly a dream come true, leaving us and our guests in awe. Annie and the Flagstaff House staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was attended to, from the initial planning stages right through to the end of the celebration. While planning our wedding it felt like we always had someone looking out for us each step of the way, with frequent check-ins and detailed feedback. They were not only accommodating but also responsive whenever we had questions or needed assistance. As an out-of-state couple, it was extremely appreciated. The venue itself provided a stunning backdrop for our special day, adding to the overall atmosphere of elegance and charm.
There wasn't much I had my heart set on initially when planning the wedding other than I knew I wanted to have amazing food. Flagstaff House blew us and our guests out of the water. The 3-course lunch they served was seasonal, cooked well, and very filling. Despite a few minor details that were neutral, such as the timing of certain services and table seating, the overall experience was truly memorable and enjoyable.
Reflecting on our experience, we can't help but feel grateful for choosing Flagstaff House Restaurant for our wedding day. The beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff all came together to create a magical and unforgettable celebration. We highly recommend Flagstaff House Restaurant to any couple looking for a venue that delivers not just a wedding, but an extraordinary experience. -

We hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Flagstaff House in May 2023 and had a wonderful experience. Annie was our main contact and she did a great job taking care of everything alongside our lovely wedding planner. The views from Flagstaff House are some of the best that Boulder can offer, it was such a great place for our out of town guests to take in the beauty that Colorado offers. The food was delicious, both the full course meals served to the bridal party during the dinner as well as the appetizers available to all our guests during the welcome party. I look forward to returning to the restaurant for a fancy dinner to celebrate down the road! -

If you have your wedding elsewhere, you are asking to have an inferior experience.
Annie, the staff, the overall experience: 10/10.
It's like they actually wanted us to have our wedding at their restaurant, versus other places that made it feel like they were doing you a favor. I would recommend the Flagstaff house to anyone who wants to have a wedding and just feel like you're simply wanted and cared for. The food, the view and the service: 5 freaking stars. -

We got married at the Flagstaff House in June 2022 and it was an absolute dream come true. Annie and her team were amazing to work with and accommodated our every whim. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the incredible food and drinks, and of course the gorgeous views. There are countless examples of how they went above and beyond to make it the best day of our lives, from an extensive menu of specialty cocktails (and mocktails) including last-minute frozen additions (once it was clear we were looking at a heatwave on the big day) to consistently looking out for my special needs brother to a fully custom cake to letting us bring in Taco Bell for late night food (and even reheating it!). I can’t recommend the venue and team enough! -

"Flagstaff House was the perfect vendor. Annie and her team put on a flawless event. She worked seamlessly with all of our vendors and our outside coordinator. The venue is BEAUTIFUL, unique, and our guests loved it. The food was incredibly and guests loved being able to select their entree from 3 options the day of (also much easier for us to not have to collect meal selection ahead of time). The venue was incredibly flexible with changes that came up in planning, and quickly responded to all questions during planning.
For couples looking for a unique and elegant venue, I cannot recommend Flagstaff House enough for a small/intimate wedding.
Choosing Flagstaff House as our wedding vendor for our ceremony/reception space made it easy for planning. They handle all ceremony chair rentals, and set up. All food and beverage is provided in house and included passed appetizers, a 3 course lunch (salad and bread, choice of entree, and delicious wedding cake), and a coffee/water station. We also opted for an open bar with beer, wine, and cocktail options for our guest. All beverages were beautifully prepared and the service was top notch! " -

Perfect wedding venue and experience!
My husband and I booked Flagstaff House for our wedding just based on pictures from their website before ever seeing It in person and we could not be happier with our decision. The expansive panoramic views of the front range, Boulder, and Denver are visible from all of the outside decks and the inside dining area, and they cannot be beat. Boulder has an excellent food scene but Flagstaff House was by far the tastiest and most creative food we’ve tried in or around Boulder. If you plan on booking this place for a wedding, I also recommend going there for dinner sometime before or after because just the regular restaurant experience is great as well. The staff all provided impeccable service. They were there when we needed them and didn’t crowd us when we didn’t need them, which made for an intimate experience. Annie is the Event Coordinator at Flagstaff House and my wife and I cannot say enough about how thankful we were to have her helping coordinate everything. Even our wedding party and several of our guests made comments to us about how great she was. We had endless questions for her while planning our big day and she was always there with an answer to every question and provided reassurance to us when we were unsure about decisions we were making in our planning process. On the big day she made sure everyone in our wedding party and all of our guests all knew exactly where to be. She ensured that everything went according to plan without a hitch by providing a perfect balance of stern directions and friendly demeanor. Annie made It so we didn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day and we were able to fully engage with the celebration of the best day of our lives so far. We could not have asked for better food, a better venue, or better staff. Everything was perfect! -

We had a small 15-person wedding reception dinner in their private room that comes with the beautiful outdoor terrace for cocktails. The space is perfect for a smaller gathering and all the windows in the room make it so lovely with a beautiful view over Boulder.
Their event-coordinator, Annie, was absolutely amazing to work with. She met with us multiple times before the event to see the event space, go through the menu, and even test out the placement of a TV I was bringing to show a video during the event. She was always quick to respond to my emails or jump on a call with me to answer questions. The Flagstaff House was also very accommodating, working with us when we had to reschedule the originally-planned date.
During the event, we were beyond impressed with the level of service we received and the food was truly amazing - probably one of the best meals I've ever had. Everyone kept talking about how nice the Flagstaff house was and how great the food was. It was a hit! I would recommend The Flagstaff House to anyone for a wedding or any sort of formal event!
The pricing was very reasonable in my opinion as well - mostly consumption-based with a small event planning fee (2%) with only a $500 event space fee. Otherwise, everything else was consumption-based with no minimum spend. I chose a four-course meal that included a wedding cake made in-house as the dessert course, which was so convenient. I only had to put $300 down to reserve the date - of course all of these numbers are just for the private room space and terrace alone (not the whole restaurant), but it was perfect for elopement-style weddings like ours!
I can't wait to go back to the Flagstaff House for our anniversary. :) -

I wish we could get married again just to have an excuse to relive the day that was our Flagstaff House wedding! It is expensive, but to us it was so worth it to have a beautiful venue, incredible food and beverages, a fully rented-out space, a venue with multiple "zones" for guests to enjoy different things, and the superb planning and coordination provided by Annie and Sarah. We could not have asked for a more smooth event day. For the planning aspect, it was great to have venue/food/beverage come from ONE vendor. Annie worked directly with other vendors (florist, DJ, string quartet) on the day to coordinate final details. Our menu was entirely vegetarian and all of our guests (even some meat-and-potatoes midwest folks) were blown away by everything they ate. The single caveat I can think of is that if you have 100 people at your wedding (the max they can seat in dining room), your ceremony on the balcony will have a few folks standing. This was not an issue for us. Highly recommend!! -

We had our reception dinner at Flagstaff House after doing a small ceremony at Sunrise Amphitheater. It was the perfect location for our wedding. The event coordinator, Annie, was extremely helpful in planning the night and went above and beyond her job. She supplied us with vendor recommendations, made a custom table layout, and always checked in on us. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We would 100% recommend having a reception dinner in the Glass Atrium.
