Which of the following wedding events does your venue service?
5 Star was a great place to have our wedding. We had a lot of family and friends from out of town so we reserved all the cabins and the lodge for them to stay in. The atmosphere was perfect to spread out and enjoy company. We were able to set up the day before wedding and tear down the next day, making the wedding less stressful. I highly recommend this venue.

Great getaway for a private wedding experience
Had the most amazing time here! We decided to do a family reunion/ wedding and stayed for 5 nights. So much easier to have all of our events in one place. We did bachelorette party, guys activities, girls activities, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception on property. Gorgeous location and lots of room for the kids to play. Worked out perfectly to not be driving from place to place, since we had so many children and also elderly people. I got married down by the creek and the pictures turned out gorgeous! The owner helped with printing out my ceremony readings at the last minute! Really appreciate that! Loved seeing all the wildlife and all the green! We're excited to go back for our one year anniversary which is included in our wedding package :)

Owner Prejudice Against Disabled Bride, Refuses Service Dog
I've never met a more rude and insensitive business owner. I arrived on the property after a 6-hour drive for my scheduled tour with the idea that I would be booking this venue for my wedding. The business manager was super sweet and gave a wonderful tour. However, halfway through our tour the owner of the property showed up and began harassing me about my ADA-certified service dog. He rudely stated that they didn't allow any pets on the property, and I politely replied explaining that he isn't considered a pet and that I could provide all legal paperwork necessary to show that he is, in fact, an official service dog. The owner proceeded to interrupt me to state "We're not ADA compliant." I was shocked at this and didn't know what to say. He went on to explain that they had issues in the past with dogs on the property, to which I began explaining my medical history and reasoning for having my officially-licensed service dog, something that I am legally protected from having to do. He again reiterated that he absolutely would not allow my service dog on his property and that I wouldn't be able to bring him back should I choose to hold my wedding here. As a disabled person protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act, I was absolutely appalled by this unfair and downright disrespectful treatment that the owner showed me. I was heartbroken, to say the least, to be driving away from the venue that I expected to book for my wedding, in tears.
