Karen is excellent at what she does! Our wedding flowers were beautiful and we could not be more happy! The pricing was a bit more than what we budgeted for but we are so glad we splurged because the result was absolutely stunning!

We were so happy with the work that we had done with Fancy Plants for our wedding! We didn’t even have a clue where to start with flowers, but Karen helped walk us through every step of the way in a way that was easy to understand. She had a ton of great ideas for different flowers/décor at different areas at our venue, and they all turned out amazingly beautiful! I didn’t really have any clue of what I wanted my bouquet to look like, so I gave her four (pretty wildly different) pictures of bouquets that I liked, and she turned that into a bouquet that I absolutely loved! I was so secretly worried that I wouldn’t like my bouquet because I didn’t give her much to work with, but it was absolutely beautiful, and I am having it preserved so I can keep it forever. The only thing I would note is that she does have a $1500 order minimum, which we were not aware of when we did our first consultation, but we did end up being able to hit that easily. The flowers were something that we wanted to spend a little more on because we wanted them to look really nice and Karen went above and beyond with that. I would absolutely recommend fancy plants to anyone who is getting married soon!

I had worked with Fancy Plants as a wedding professional, so when it came time for my own wedding, I knew I had to go with Karen! As an out-of-town bride, having to communicate remotely was integral to the process. Karen was a joy to work with and she dealt with all of my crazy ideas and inspiration from the bouquets to the tablescapes to the ceremony altar pieces. She was incredibly consultative when I asked her to be, yet showcased her expertise and passion for florals when I had run out of ideas. She was very upfront about her pricing and how much every individual item cost so I was always aware. My ceremony space was flipped into the reception space during cocktail hour, so I hired her team to step in and oversee the process. I had set all of my centerpieces on the tables in the other room first, then she went in and added floral and greenery to the (very specific) instructions I had left her. I got to do a final walkthrough of the room before my guests were invited in and I was absolutely blown away by how everything came together. Karen is very involved in the Omaha wedding community and continues to learn and stay on top of trends. Above all this, she's a genuine gem of a human being. You won't go wrong with working with her for your wedding (or any other occasion)!

I found Fancy Plants Flowers and Design through a friend who had used her for her own wedding. She had said that she did a great job and was wonderful to work with. After looking at some of the flowers from my friend's wedding I was sold. The planning process was so easy, we had a couple meeting before the wedding and she handled it all. I brought inspiration photos to our first meeting & she got right to work. I don't know anything about flowers, so she handled getting the right flowers that would work with the heat in June. She helped swap flowers that were out of season for flowers that would look beautiful on our day. In addition to the flowers, she helped me pick out decor for ceremony and reception that would go with the vision I was going for. Anytime I had a question she would respond to my email within 24 hours and answer phone calls when I called. The best part about using FPFD was that when I moved before the wedding she was able to do zoom meetings & handled everything even though I was 2 hours away. Flowers were the the main decor piece for my wedding, so I wanted them big, full, and beautiful. She nailed it and helped make my vision real.

Karen was outstanding! We asked her to create a floral arch with a floating effect. I only showed her 2 or 3 pictures and she absolutely nailed it. She didn't have an existing structure, so she built it from scratch, on site. It was truly stunning. She was so lovely to work with, worth every penny. We got high end blooms and her price was extremely reasonable. Do not hesitate to book her - she is a gem!

Karen from the first meeting put me at ease that she would help every step of the way. When I was indecisive she helped guide me to the vision I wanted!!! Truly recommend her to everyone that is looking. She also worked many times with my wedding planner and when I told my planner who I wanted to go with for florist they told me "you picked the best person."
