Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my now husband and I made the unfortunate decision to cancel our wedding on April 3rd, 2020. Famous Dave's was booked as our caterer and was so wonderful to work with even though we never got to experience their day of services. They were super helpful planning out our menu and completely understanding when we told them we were canceling. They even gave us a full refund as we canceled way before their policy of 7 days before the event. HIGHLY recommend this vendor.

Excellent price for everything you get. Wonderful fast service. They deliver food in their heated and cooled trucks. My fiancé had to have scalloped potatoes and even though it wasn't on their menu FD's took his family recipe, practiced making it, gave us a taste testing and served it at our wedding! Highly recommend!

Ashley was amazing at helping me plan our meal for our wedding! She understood that I was on a tight budget and planning the wedding from a state away. She did everything she could to help cut costs without cutting quality. I got rave reviews from everyone at the wedding about how awesome the food was!

I helped my friend plan her daughter's wedding and honestly didn't know what to expect when she said they were using Famous Dave's as the caterer. I had been to the restaurant and loved it, but I wasn't quite sure it would work for a wedding. Boy, was I wrong! They served prime rib or salmon and EVERYONE raved about how good the food was. The presentation was fantastic! In addition the team we worked with was professional, responsive and seemed to care as much about the wedding as we did. I would highly recommend them.

Famous Dave's was the perfect choice for catering or reception. It was outdoors and the food was perfect for the evening. The people who came to serve the food were fabulous and very helpful. We had plenty of food and everybody loved it.

Maybe my favorite vendor! Just because I still get to enjoy them anytime I want! If you have never eaten at Famous Dave's, find one and get some of the best BBQ ever! My husband & I loved them for a long time here in Nashville. When it came time to plan our wedding, we knew we wanted a picnic theme, so what says picnic better than some good BBQ? We were afraid the price might be too high though. You will not believe me, but it was cheaper to have them cater than it would have been to eat there!! AND they were even cheaper than Fazolli's! We had the buffet setup which they delivered and they worked the buffet and they cleaned up everything at the end. Eric is their catering manager and we so nice to work with. I had so many questions and yet he never got annoyed with me! He was always quick to call me back. They were extremely professional. I just told you the value was amazing... we had 2 meat: pulled pork and chicken and we had 3 sides as well as their yummy biscuits. It was for 150 people and it was only $10 a head WITH tip!! That included all the setup and service. They may have raised prices since then, but they are SO worth it! Everyone went on and on about the food. Our families are from out-of-town so some of them have actually came through TN since and made it a point to stop at Famous Dave's just because of our wedding. They were also very flexible (and kind) They added last-minute requests and when I asked to surprise my husband with a full order of their awesome ribs - they did it at no charge as a surprise for us. We used their Sauces as part of our centerpieces to give to our guests. It was sincerely the best experience and we will be fans for life!

When I was looking for a caterer I was just overwhelmed. Every place I looked at served food I didn't like and the prices were ridiculous. If I'm paying $20 per person for food, then I expect a steak dinner not chicken tenders and various other finger foods.

I looked at Famous Dave's on a whim. I knew they would have food I like, but I still wanted that formal feel and didn't want my guests to be eating ribs. I contacted Ashley, who is in charge of their catering and explained my wants/needs. We settled on an appetizer of strawberry poppyseed salad that would be plate served to my guests at the start of the reception.

Then for the main appetizer we had brisket, roasted chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. All this was set up, delivered, and served in stainless steel chaffing dishes. All this was for under $13 per person! Everyone loved the food.

If you're looking for delicious, economical food go for Famous Dave's. Ashley is great and willing to work with you. My only complaint was we opted to pay by credit card prior to event. At the day of the event they needed a signature for the payment to go through. So in the middle of our reception they pulled my husband and I aside and asked us to sign for the payment. It was kind of awkward, but I do believe we could have avoided this by paying cash or asking to finalize payment beforehand.
