Planning a wedding from Trinidad for St. Lucia could have easily felt overwhelming, but Louanne made the entire experience feel smooth, special, and far less stressful than we imagined. From the very beginning, she was professional, warm, patient, and always had such a positive attitude.

Because we were planning a destination wedding in St. Lucia while living in Trinidad, it was so important for us to have someone we could trust on the ground, and Louanne was exactly that person. She worked closely with us, listened to what we wanted, and helped us stay within our budget while still bringing our vision to life beautifully. We truly felt that we received excellent value for money.

What stood out most was how caring and supportive she was throughout the entire process. She made us feel comfortable, reassured, and confident every step of the way. Louanne was more than just our wedding planner she became a genuine friend after the wedding, and that says so much about the kind of person she is. My husband and I wanted a laid back, intimate wedding, and overall didn't care much about the details and decor. Louanne and team went above and beyond to make sure we didn't have to worry about anything. The decor was PERFECT-- simple, elegant, and some tropical boho details. She also handled logistics seamlessly, from transportation to a hair dresser to steel drum ceremony music.

When my photographer cancelled a couple weeks before, Louanne booked a new amazing photographer (Peter Rameau) before even telling me the news. She also volunteered to help with our rehearsal dinner at Orlando's which was incredible.

Having never been to St. Lucia before the wedding, we went in blind and trusting Louanne with everything. And it was the best decision we could've made! She is so talented and full of so much joy, love and great advice. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

We didn't only plan my wedding. She set us up. everything was beautiful. I was pregnant at the time so i was unable to help. She did an excellent job. i just wanted to get married and she made it happen. It was also my birthday so i was a little overwhelmed.

Louanne at Extraordinary Weddings is simply amazing. My husband and I planned a wedding in July 2020 but had to cancel it because of Covid. Not only did she honor my deposit, she kept in touch with me over the past year because we wanted to do a vow renewal on our one-year anniversary.

We arrived on July 1 (ONE DAY before Hurricane Elsa hit the island on 7/2) and she managed to continue with the beach vow renewal as planned ONE day later on 7/3/21. The beach was littered with trash and debris from the hurricane and she spent hours cleaning it up. We were beyond amazed at how hard she and her staff worked for us even down to getting us a steel drum band two days before the event.

She is VERY responsive, works with you for every detail, and not one single thing went wrong.

We did a private vow renewal on the beach with no guests. We had a bouquet and boutonniere made with local tropical flowers (beautiful). She provided a decorated arch, aisle runner, and tiki torches, steel drum band, photography. Simply beautiful at sunset!

Louanne was friendly, professional, helpful and kept us updated throughout. She provided us with the perfect vow renewal package and nothing was too much for her to look into for us. We used Pigeon Island which was stunning and it was her attention to detail that made our day special. We would wholly recommend Louanne if you are thinking about a wedding in St Lucia

A Year To The Day But Yet It Feels Like Yesterday . .
I had every intentions of writing our review on my return to London but got caught up and carried away in Married Life, lol

Reflecting back on our Special Day, where do I begin . .
Firstly I want to thank Extraordinary Weddings & Events, more importantly Louanne for planning such an amazing wedding & wonderful experience for us both!
Our wedding was like something out of a magazine, you created such a wonderful and personalised experience which exceeded all our expectations.
Words cannot express our gratitude & want to let you know that we will be forever be grateful for all that you done.

Planning this wedding was a lot harder than most due to the fact that I was located in the UK & initially felt a little apprehensive in putting my trust in the hands of a complete stranger who was recommended by my husband may I add but she helped put my mind at ease from the get go with her beautiful personality, confident & professional manor.
She was also easily accessible, easy to work with, always helpful & very reassuring.
Louanne & I worked well as a team, she told me what I needed & I told her what I wanted.
Although I picked the ceremony venue Pigeon Island National Park as that’s where me & my husband met, Louanne basically arrange the whole package.
I was given a choice of three, Reception Venues, Photographer, Videographer, Make-Up Artist, Hair Stylist, DJ’s, Wedding Party Transport, Suppliers, etc & had the option to work within my budget which help tremendously. I transferred money to Louanne’s account and in turn she provided me with receipts/money trail for all my purchases, etc
I also purchase a lot of my decor, cutlery, alcohol, stationary, etc from the UK & sent it to St Lucia in barrels which she kindly received on my behalf & kept secure until my arrival.
In the run up to the wedding Louanne kept me in the loop about the most important things & took control of the little things, she provided relevant updates which were very helpful & relieve a lot of the stress of the wedding planning process.
The month before the wedding we worked together on finalising everything from timelines, venues, menu’s, rehearsal to legal documentation, payments, guest accommodation, etc

The Special Day . .
We chose a Beach Wedding & when I arrived at the location I was overwhelmed, the scene I saw was just perfect, our family & friends were seated beautifully in the open air, the sun was shining, there was a gentle sea breeze, with the soothing sound of the waves in the background.
The decor for both the ceremony & reception was arranged beautifully, just how we discuss it & just how I wanted it. (May I add my beach arch was handmade by her team!!)
People often ask what was the best part about your wedding day & for both of us it was not having to worry about anything, it was so good to be able to relax and enjoy our day knowing that everything was in control, taken care of & in good hands!!
We felt so blessed to have had Extraordinary Weddings & Events plan our special day.
Louanne worked with us to create something that fitted into our budget always giving multiple options, she respected our input & listened to what we had envisioned whilst turning our vision into a reality.
She is a confident, knowledgable, experienced, organised, punctual, reliable, honest, trustworthy individual that worked incredibly well under pressure.

Louanne (and Ousha) were amazing from the start and after speaking to previous brides, we were happy to use them for our grandfather's 90th Birthday celebration in September 2019. We were a party of 40 people travelling from both London and the south of the island. We had the best time. The décor, food, drinks, music, photographer and venue were perfect and my grandfather and family members had a excellent time. I am more than happy to be contacted if you are unsure about working with this company.

Working with Louanne was a very stress free process. We trusted her recommendations and suggestions which turned out better than we imagined, she was so creative. She worked with us closely to ensure we remained on budget even though we ended up surpassing it, but it was our choice to increase the guest list. By the end we were so happy with how everything turned out, we decided to give her an additional treat at a resort because we really felt like she gave it 150%. Job well done!!!!!!
