I knew as soon as saw Extended Play's wedding portfolio that I wanted to book them - their photographs are stunning, and unlike 99% of the wedding photos out there, feel genuine and unrehearsed. So, I knew the pictures would be amazing (and they definitely did not disappoint). What I didn't expect was how fun it would be to work with Jenny and Jason. They are both warm, easygoing, and charming people: though we hadn't had the chance to meet prior to my wedding day (it was a destination wedding), we took a shine to them immediately. They were with us all day - from the hair appointment until the reception's bitter end - capturing every smile, every tear, every attempt at the worm on the dance floor. Their photos do more than just document the event: they tell the real story of your day.

We loved everything about working with Jenny and Jason. They are warm, energetic, and are so fun we would have wanted them at our wedding as guests if they hadn't been our photographers. For our engagement session, Jenny came all the way to Denver to spend the day with us as we cruised around the city. On our wedding day, Jason and Jenny spent the ENTIRE day with us, from the early morning hair and make up session until the last song played at the end of the night.

Jenny and Jason were a highlight at our wedding. They are first and foremost just great people - easy going, fun, friendly, active, and obviously very talented. All our guests wanted to know how we found the really cool people behind the cameras!

From the start, we felt they truly wanted to understand us and our vision. We were planning a Santa Fe wedding from afar and both Jenny and Jason took the time to video chat before we even signed on to make sure we were good fits for each other. Fortunately, it turned out they were just what we were searching for - not your run of the mill, cliche wedding photographer, but rather artists interested in capturing real moments and documenting the day as authentically as possible.

At your wedding, you end up spending a lot of time with your photographer. And we were very happy it was these two. They made everything stress free, fun and nothing felt forced. They also generously arrive as early in the day as you want and they stay to the bitter end, something I don't think you get from most photographers.

I would 100% send anyone looking for a wedding photographer to Jenny and Jason. I honestly have no complaints. I dealt with a lot of vendors in the wedding planning process and these two were top notch. Communication is solid, value is superb, professionalism is high, and most importantly their final product is something you'll be excited to show off. They're simply the best!

Words cannot describe how grateful we are to have found Jenny and Jason. We decided that one of the most important things to us for our wedding, was to have a weekend full of our family and friends coming together to celebrate our love in a destination weekend getaway. After looking at Extended Play Photographys work, we knew that they had to be the ones to capture it. They went above and beyond what most photographers would do. From traveling to take our Engagement Photos in Colorado, to Traveling to Red River, New Mexico for the wedding. Our photos show the love and emotion that there was throughout the entire day and night. Jenny and Jason are awesome! My fiance and I were looking for a wedding photographer that would document our day and really highlight our experience. My fiance had met with a couple of other photographers that were either ridiculously priced or over the top. But when he met with Jenny, he knew instantly that he wanted to hire them. He could tell that they were genuine and talented and could see them accompanying us for our big day. After I met them over Skype we both agreed that they were who we wanted.
We had an awesome engagement session with them at our choice of spots and spent the day getting more comfortable with them while telling them about our relationship. Once we got the photos from the session back we were so excited for the wedding pictures! They captured who we were as a couple and were so great that my sister described one of the pictures as straight from a fairytale.
When the wedding day came, they were calm and collected. Jenny met me at my house early in the morning and snapped pictures while I was getting ready with my family and Jason accompanied my fiance at his house. During the ceremony they tastefully maneuvered the church and got some great shots. After taking family portraits we ventured to take more pictures in the city and then to the reception. All during the reception they took great pictures of not only us, but of the guests having fun too. What I loved most about the pictures we got were that they were real. They weren't the cookie cutter shots that I see from a lot of weddings: they were of the moments that made our wedding day great.
I can't say enough how awesome, down to earth, and talented Jenny and Jason are. I would hire them again in a heart beat.
