People say a picture is worth a thousand words but words cannot express the love story that Mechelle and her team captured with the images taken during my wedding vow renewal. Our Engagement shoot was awesome and photographed by excellent professionals. They captured some beautiful photos of our family, and I can't wait until we receive our photos to show off to our family!!!

Michelle was an absolute dream to work with for my session. I was planning an out of town proposal (Charleston) and wanted her to capture the moment. She helped me pick out a location for the proposal, a good time in the evening to do it and even dinner plans. Michelle made sure to be there early at the location and be ready far ahead of time. All of this communication was done through responsive emails and texts from Michelle. After the proposal we shot some scenery photos with Michelle which turned out amazing. After we chose the photos we wanted edited, Michelle quickly turned them around and the products were absolutely STUNNING! I would use Michelle again in a heartbeat and would recommend her to anyone.

Mechelle was great. She was easy to contact and answered any questions I had to make me feel at ease. 

I hired her for my intimate wedding and the photos are beautiful. She visited the site in advance and had a feel for it before our big day.

Mechelle, the photographer, asked a lot of questions, was early for the job and kept in close contact. Very sweet and friendly also!

She's a scammer. Do not use her. She stole $350 from me for my birthday shoot March 19th. Cancelled my shoot the day of and never refunded my money.

I wish I were writing this from the perspective of someone who actually got to experience their photography. I wish I were writing a better review, but I can't.

I originally reached out to whomever is running the business phone number on July 9th at 11:30 AM. The website says you can call or text, so I texted. I wanted to inquire about setting up a family photoshoot for a special occasion. I never got a response. Fast forward a month later to August 13th. I reached out again. I literally sent them a copy and paste of the same message. I started with a greeting, gave them the details on what I was looking to accomplish, and asked my questios. I got back one sentence, "It's $10 for each additional person." Yikes y'all.

I teach and run a business of my own, so I understand that personal interactions are key to acquiring folks' business. I still continued to book, but ran into a snag when filling out the form. They ask what color backdrop on the form, but don't show pictures of the solid colors, just the designer backdrops. So, I texted again in the middle of booking my slot and paying my deposit to get clarification on the gray color. I didn't want to choose something too dark or too light. Whoever is running the business line hit me with, "It's as pictured. We close at 7."

Here I am, preparing to be a paying customer of at least $500 (even after no one responded to my initial inquiry after a MONTH), and I'm told essentially "Stop talking to me. It's after 7." Was it after 7? Yep. Had I initiated the conversation before 7? Yes, I did. Would a more respectful message and tone have been appreciated? Absolutely. Did I proceed with my booking? Absolutely not. Did I begin reaching out to other photographers? Sure did.

Teaching other people how to do business actually isn't the business I'm in, but if y'all are in need of customer service lessons please hit my line and I'll be glad to offer some assistance. I will throw my money at a Black owned business all day because I love to see my people prosper. And I genuinely never post about my negative experiences, because I want you all to shine always and not dim any light. This situation was just far beyond what I can tolerate.
