Nikki is sweet, creative, and an absolute dream to work with. I didn’t have much direction, and didn’t even think I wanted to do custom invitations. I planned on not caring much, and just ordering from Shutterfly to save money. Since I grew up in town with Nikki, and saw on social she had started doing this, I figured why not just see how the prices compared. It wasn’t astronomical like I thought! She was certainly more than Shutterfly, but she provided so much more. Not only did I have fun designing, but it was also so much more special. She had great ideas, and advice. Her design was beautiful, and there was so much detail: twine, a real red wax seal, custom colors, etc. she also made us a custom specialty drink menu complete with an colored illustration of each of our pets- because of course the drinks were themed inspired by their personalities! I highly recommend using her.

d our son’s 1st birthday invites done by Ev + Flo Design and could NOT have been more thrilled.
1.) Creativity: I told her our theme and she went from my idea of a generic invite with the colors involved to completely transforming the invite into something so unique!
2.) Execution: I feel silly saying this but the amount of people who called me to tell me how amazing the invite was is crazy. “This kid wins for best invite I’ve ever gotten!” “Oh my God, we are keeping this invite - my kids love it!”.. etc. I joked that they were going to be sorely disappointed by my decorations day of because we set such a high bar with the invites!
3.) Experience: Beyond that though, Ev + Flo Design Studio was amazing to work with. I did not give her much time and she had me back multiple options, suggestions and then personally delivered them to a mutual friend “just in case the mail took to long” so I’d have them on time.

I cannot say enough good things and will use her for every event. I’m sad she wasn’t around doing this when I got married!
