Unique venue, breathtaking views!

Absolutely amazing venue! Not only are the views breathtaking, but it's a unique venue that your guests will remember forever! The lodge is charming and the outdoor dance floor was a hit! The owners of EL couldn't be nice and more attentive. We hosted the rehearsal dinner there the night before and hosted an after-party silent disco. Provided me with the wedding of my dreams! Wish I could host it all over again

My daughter just got married at Eureka Lodge on August 4th and it was nothing short of amazing! The scenery is so beautiful it takes your breath away. The owners and staff were very accommodating and helpful from beginining to end. We filled the lodge with family and friends and had the rehearsal dinner on Friday night catered by Golden Block Brewery, they brought in a portable pizza oven and the lodge staff transformed the dining area and outside patio into a quaint “little Italy” setting. We enjoyed all the lodge had to offer including the incredible breakfast, the pool table, library and hiking on property. The wedding on Saturday was up at the ceremony site above the lodge where guests could either walk to or be driven up in a all terrain vehicle, the backdrop was all mountains and greenery. The reception down by the lodge was held in a white tent which we spent the morning decorating with flowers delivered to the lodge by Sams Club (perfect) and burlap runners, tin centerpieces & charges to complete the “rustic chic” decor. The DJ (AikoAiko) kept the party in high gear and the food (Durangourmet) was top notch! Also note desserts and wedding cake by Morning Glory Pastries (beautiful & delicious)! Be ready to completely relax and unplug as there is no WiFi or cell service but by planning ahead and giving all guests detailed information ahead of time this was a welcomed break.

The Eureka Lodge is an awesome place to get married. The staff took care of the tent, dance floor, chairs for the ceremony and dining tables. It's not a "resort," but if you're looking for a relaxed and rustic environment, this is the place.

The setting can NOT be beat. The Eureka Lodge was absolutely beautiful and I could not have been happier with how the location and setting played into our theme. The only complaint we would have is the explanation for parking and transportation to the lodge. We were told that the venue had utility vehicles that would transport people from the lower parking lot to the lodge. Unfortunately this was not the case and the groom and father of the bride ended up having to shuttle people which made it more stressful. Outside of this hick-up the event was wonderful. Be prepared to do a lot of the set up yourself (unless you hire a planner, we had friends and family who helped set the bar, center pieces, etc.) I understood the set up requirements prior to arrival so I had recruited my team! If you are in a mind set of DIY you will be fine but if you are looking for a completely hands off event you might want to hire a planner.

I would most definitely recommend this venue to anyone who asked, if you are looking for a unique and breathtaking location look no further!

the scenery is spectacular. the lodge is cool- the problem is the owners- they live there. "quiet time" starts at 10-11 pm- even for the reception. and they were extremely RUDE to the bride, groom and their guests. as soon as one event was over they were packing up tables and chairs leaving no place to sit. they even went around turning off lights and locking people out even though they had rented out the whole facility. they tell you that you have access to a whole kitchen with large refrigerator and freezer, then when you haul ice, etc. up there, you are told you you can use the bottom shelf of a freezer because they have completely filled the box freezer up with bags of ice for the campground they run. promised bride and groom they could park their RV in campground, then charged them $45 a night. Nickel and dime you to death..buyer beware..

Location is beautiful. Great for a small rustic style wedding. Unique lodging. Rooms are small though and maybe the price is a little high for the quality of the room. Be aware that shut down of party starts at around 10 or 11 pm.
Owner was extremely difficult to get a hold of throughout the months following up to event. Because we were expected to fill all rooms, it was critical that owner be vigilant in confirming reservations, which was not the case. The first night some rooms remained empty (as friends were told that all the rooms were full, when they were available) and we ended up having to pay for them due to owner's negligence. Owner was also rude to family members and friends throughout wedding. Heard this from multiple sources. Hearing this was very upsetting, as many friends and family traveled long distances to celebrate with us. I am not sure if I would recommend this place. Maybe I would recommend renting our facility for one day, but would not suggest renting out for a whole weekend. Eureka Lodge needs to work on their professionalism and communication.
