Estes Events is a wedding planning company based just outside of Charlottesville in Palmyra, Virginia. Owner Wendy has more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, the last eight of which have been focused specifically on weddings. Using her seasoned expertise and vendor connections, she will help guide you through the process from beginning to end.

Wendy was incredible to work with!

Wendy was incredible to work with! I was a bride on the other side of the country and hired her to do virtual planning for my big day. I was so impressed with how detail-oriented she was! She didn't miss a beat, and my day went better than I could have ever dreamt. I would recommend her to anyone virtual or in person!

Detail oriented!!

We are so glad we hired Wendy as our planner. She was the best advocate to make sure all of our vendors were on the same page. She listened to us, first and foremost, to make sure our day went exactly how we were hoping. I can’t stress the importance of having a planner with you on your wedding day - she kept everything on schedule, made sure all the details were in place, held my train while I walked down the aisle, helped clean and organize at the end of the night, and so much more!! Wendy is the best!!

Couldn't have done it without her!

Wendy Estes and her team truly made our wedding possible. She was with us every step of the way and was a pleasure to work with. We were planning our wedding long distance so to have her "on the ground" as a point of contact for all of our vendors was invaluable, not to mention her knowledge of the area and local vendors. We had weekly calls with her that kept us on track with all of the many decisions to be made. She also worked with my mother-in-law in the planning of the rehearsal dinner, and coordinated our welcome party AND brunch! On the big day itself, the way she was able to orchestrate everything and keep things on schedule was amazing. I can't imagine doing it without her!

My Right Hand Woman

Wendy is extraordinary. She was so willing to roll with the punches and our idea of creating a mountain top wedding. She was supportive and reliable. She went over and beyond my expectations and executed the reception perfectly. We knew we were in good hands when she offered to drive to Harrisonburg just to walk through the venue and talk through our plans. I am so thankful for Wendy and ALL of the small details she played a role in.
Thank you for everything. 10/10 recommend her. She was professional, prompt, kind, informed, she was a saint through it all!

She made my day so special. Knowing her experience with hospitality and her many successful years as an events specialist; she was truly above and beyond. She can literally do it all. Set up, photos, planning was such a breeze with her assistants. Phenomenal service.
