Sarah at Englebert's worked with my fiancé to create my perfect engagement ring. It was made custom to fit to my tastes, and this also happens to be the same jewelry store that made my fiancé's grandmother's rings. They are very personable and help to make your dreams come true. Very sentimental and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend.

Engelbert's is a family owned Jeweler in Rome, NY both of my brothers purchased their wife's rings there so naturally I did too. We used my grandmother's diamond and baguette's to create my engagement ring and wedding band which was a wrap. The ring came out beautiful I have no complaint there. We were told that the stone would be appraised free of charge while they were making the custom setting, when my fiance picked it up he was so excited he forgot to ask if it was appraised, they had forgotten to appraise it and I had to bring it in for a full week so they could get it appraised, but I had just been proposed to and didn't want to separate with it. When I finally did get in to have it appraised the gentleman appraising it was one of the rudest people
I have ever met in my journey to plan our wedding. When I asked if he needed to keep it over night to appraise it he gave me a sarcastic remark and then took it, when I picked it up he wanted to charge me for the appraisal that was supposed to be free when we ordered it because technically it's a re-setting of a stone, when I asked what that meant since they made the ring for us he slowed down his speech like I was a child and repeated everything he said again. I paid the money just to get out of there and left in tears. I would recommend Engelbert's if you are going to buy your whole ring there just avoid the appraiser at all costs.
