I can't say enough remarkable things about Emily. From the day I met her, I knew that it was going to be an excellent partnership. I think I am one of the few people that didn't find her based on recommendation; but rather by internet search. I had an idea of what I wanted and I took my time with researching my options. I spent weeks browsing and bookmarking and slowly started narrowing down my options before calling to set up the initial appointment. Something about Emily's photos kept drawing me back in. I ended up scheduling an appointment with her and keeping a couple different options as back up just in case it didn't work out.

When we met in person, it was as if she knew exactly what I wanted without me having to explain myself over and over. She just got me. I never even contacted anyone else. I knew that Emily was going to be my photographer from that day on.

We were lucky enough to work with her for both the engagement session as well as the big day. She is, of course, professional and organized but I mostly appreciated her ability to just have fun and relax. It made everything so much easier and the pictures are absolute proof of that. Every image is so genuine and perfect.

She can take a background like a boring brick wall and make it look like the most impressive backdrop you've ever seen. I don't honestly know how she does it but it's always so rewarding to see the final product.

The biggest thing for me, aside from the beautiful pictures and ease of working with her, was how comfortable she made my (now) husband. He wasn't as sold on the pricing of wedding photographers, but even he fell in love with Emily and was extremely impressed with how the pictures came out.

I can't recommend her work and her passion for perfection enough. I truly thank Emily for giving us a lifetime of memories and for being an absolute joy to work with. I absolutely plan on working with her again in the future...for the next big step in our lives.

All I can say is WOW! Emily provided exceptional service from the very begining to the very end! She was the very first vendor we met with and the very first vendor we booked after we set our venue. She was a delight to work with and did everything with such ease and effortlessness. The pictures from the wedding turned out so amazingly that we have hardly been able to pick "favorites" as they are all that good! I could not imagine having gone with anyone else, and would recommend her for ALL milestones!

Cliché but true, pictures do last a lifetime and each is worth more than a thousand words. My husband and I were sure we had our photographer booked within two months of being engaged (11 months before the big day). The gentleman said all the right things and presented commendable albums and decent pricing. But as the weeks passed by and our first payment check had been cashed he became less responsive, if he even responded at all. Only a few months until the wedding, we found ourselves without a photographer and facing the possibility of having to spend even more money to book someone else so close to our wedding date. And then our wedding planner introduced us to Emily Estfan of EME Photography. Her captivating personality, impressive résumé of experience, and breadth of photographic knowledge was all that we needed to decide – we had to book her no matter the cost! It was decided that we would forgo other non-important details to have her - i.e., single layer tablecloth rather than draped with two. We did have a tight budget, but we knew the pictures she would deliver would be well worth their price!

We did not need to fret about budget and pricing as much as we did. Wanting us to have the perfect pictures and wedding album, Emily worked up a pricing package that we couldn’t object to. We were able to have her and two assistants for over 7 hrs on the day of the wedding, a high resolution CD of all the pictures taken on that day (over 650!), a 50-image custom, leather-bound photo album, an engagement session, and a complimentary 8x10 photo, all within our price range. Where other photographers entice clients is with their pricing. They will show packages based on hours spent, number of photographers present (many charge extra per assistant), and any photos that you would like for them to print (usually a hefty price tag for only a fraction of the photos taken during the event). Many do not include photo albums in their price nor the cost of a CD of all images they take, if they even offer to sell a CD at all. Because of their higher selling cost, most would rather each print be purchased one-by-one. So their prices seem tempting at first glance, but in the end a client winds up spending more with an “a la carte” photographer like that rather than one who has all-inclusive pricing, like EME. And of course, EME gives you the option of customizing a package based on what’s most important to you.

Emily and her assistants were able to go unnoticed throughout the entire day, yet be everywhere to capture the most special, intimate, and memorable moments of our wedding. What’s also great about EME Photography is the personal blog Emily regularly updates; telling of her experiences with all of the couples she’s worked with that even includes short slideshows for each that chronicles their wedding day’s events. It was great to be able to see some of our pictures in the slideshow within a week after our wedding – we were emotional all over again! The most important factor to us was that these ladies were able to capture much more than just images, but the true emotions everyone experienced that day. We cry, we laugh, we get excited, we feel proud, and we reminisce every time we look at our pictures. We’re really able to relive the day, and that’s truly priceless.

A great photographer wants to capture the real bond between a couple, nothing posed or awkward, but natural and real. The hardest part about working with Emily and her team was choosing the photos that would be of our album. With so many to choose from it was beyond difficult to cut over 650 pictures down to just a few must-haves.
