We had SUCH a beautiful and unforgettable wedding at Elmaro Vineyard. It was the perfect location for our outdoor Wisconsin Wedding. The wine is fabulous and the views are spectacular!
The vineyard is family-owned and everyone from that family was such a pleasure to work with. The main event coordinator that we worked with though, was Cameron. Throughout the planning stages, he was very responsive and helpful in answering out questions and accommodating our needs.
In addition, it was very helpful for us to be the only wedding booked for that weekend. They were very flexible with letting us set up the day before and take-down the day following the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, the staff was all very kind and accommodating. One of the only downsides of the venue was that they were open during their normal business hours that day. There were several random groups of people and visitors watching the ceremony and intermixed within our cocktail hour that day which was kind of odd and created a semi-uncomfortable setting. We would have rather preferred that the venue closed early to the public and allowed our guests to sit at all the tables/park in all of the spots.
In addition, Elmaro really under-estimated how much alcohol that we would need. Near the middle of the reception, Elmaro ran out of wine and beverages for our wedding. Our guests literally bought the winery out and cleared all of the fridges.
But, over all, Elmaro was very accommodating and our only problems arose due to the fact that we were one of their "first" bigger weddings hosted. All in all, we were SO very happy with Elmaro and very much pleased with how beautiful our wedding turned out.
