Elizabeth Bliss Events is a wedding planning and day-of-coordination company that specializes in all event operations. The owner of Elizabeth Bliss found her passion for weddings 3 years ago in Colorado, and since then she has planned weddings in Colorado, Florida, Illinois, and Iowa. Absolutely Amazing!

Lauren was amazing and went above and beyond to help us with planning, answering any questions we had, and making sure everything was on track. We had two wedding ceremonies in one day and Lauren was there working behind the scenes the whole day to make it run smoothly! She was accommodating and helped with extra seating for lunch that we wanted torn down before our reception, she cleaned throughout the day without ever being noticed. Not to mention, she was super nice and attentive to the wedding party to make sure we had everything we needed!

Upbeat, friendly & professional!

We've had the pleasure of working with Lauren at a couple of weddings over the past year and she is awesome! Day of Coordinator

I cannot say it enough… get yourself a day of coordinator! As someone that loves planning and control, I thought it would be challenging to have someone else running things on the big day, but Lauren is a professional and after a few meetings, I knew she would rock it. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed it FLAWLESSLY on the day of. It was such a blessing to have Lauren to coordinate vendors, pull together the perfect decor, and organize all the moving parts (and people). Lauren allowed me, my partner and our families to enjoy the day and focus our attention there instead of worrying about details. We would definitely recommend Lauren to help on your big day and can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work!

Day of coordinator

Lauren was an amazing day of coordinator! She helped our wedding day and rehearsal go so smooth and she is also very fun and knows how to have a good time with the wedding party and guests! :) You will be in great hands with Lauren as your coordinator! She is very responsive to all questions and planning leading up to the big day.

Over promised, under delivered, zero coordination. Colossal waste of money.

Over promised, under delivered, zero coordination. If I could change one thing about my wedding, I would have hired a different partial planner, or none at all. She promised several things she didn't deliver on, including bringing an assistant. She showed up with the wrong version of my timeline, which she failed to share with the wedding party or certain vendors. I went to bed frantic the night before after being bombarded by guests who didn't know where to go the next day (she even had ME confused as to what time I was supposed to show up) and guests who said that the rehearsal left them confused because "they received no direction". I woke up the next morning to texts from the hair/makeup team who hadn't been instructed where to go. I barely slept and spent the morning very upset that nobody knew what was going on - the exact stress one hires a coordinator to avoid.

She did the bare minimum of installing my decor and coordinating our rentals (the job I assume her assistant should have done) but did zero coordination the day of for the actual wedding party or guests. She failed to arrange ground transportation for my mother and mother in law with mobility issues, despite several discussions and an email reminder the week before. She failed to move furniture I had rented based on her assurance that she could move/restage it at various points during the event, so those rentals were a waste. She didn't manage our timeline AT ALL so we missed several key things - including our much needed pre-ceremony dance practice, so we wasted part of our reception making that up. She also failed to manage the timing of the miniature doney surprise I had planned for my kids - I had been explicit to time this so I wouldn't miss their reaction. Not only did I miss it, but apparently she didn't realize this was for the kids at all. Their satchels were loaded with beer (despite the organized spreadsheet I provided with an itemized list of the drinks, straws, etc. to use). Thanks for the beers for my 2- and 5- year olds!

Conclusion: colossal waste of money.
