Electric Sugar

Words cannot describe how amazing, fun and interactive this band is. They sound fantastic and are a pleasure to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

We used electric sugar for our wedding in fall of 2025 and I cannot express enough how amazing they were. We used them for acoustic guitar during the ceremony, a jazz quartet for cocktail hour and the 5 piece band for the reception and we couldn’t be more pleased. From the set up until the last song of the night, us and all of our guests were blown away. The music was the one part of my wedding I really wanted to be perfect and Electric Sugar did not disappoint.  Our guests still can’t stop talking about amazing the music was. Seriously, if you are considering using them, just go for it! You will not be disappointed.

Our wedding was late August of 2025, & despite this review being almost a half year later, we couldn't NOT provide our feedback about our experience (and our guests') with Electric Sugar & how they made our event such a blast, including leading up to it all.
First of all, Dillon was a pleasure to work with in the months leading up to the event, with his understanding & careful consideration of our wants & needs, which included answering our many questions, & helping to shape things up in a way that made us feel confident we were in good hands by providing useful insights & input into what may/may not work out well in one way or another, & explained things well. It really showed that he cared & that he & the rest of the crew really care about their part to play in making the best party possible come to life smoothly & with great energy, talent, & professionalism.
We decided we would have them help with the music for the outdoor ceremony (not live but pre-chosen songs on speakers, & with use of their mics), as well as a pre-reception cocktail hour live acoustic trio on the patio. They did great! Set the vibe perfectly.
For the reception inside, we chose to have their 5pc band + add-on DJ to complete the sound to our liking (& we just figured it wasn't a significant cost increase for us personally & so why not). It was such a well-rounded overall performance, with honestly impressive sound & individual & collective skill/musicianship. Vocals & instrumentation, timing, accuracy, presence, etc. - they nailed it all.

Checked out their Instagram as well, which helped to hear what they can do, to some extent (because it's not always that possible to really get the best feel for how things would be unless really experiencing live performance). If live music is your thing, & yet you want a band that doesn't just feel like a standard "wedding band," then we'd say they fit the bill well. They really made the event such a blast for everyone, & deserve the praise. Lastly, I'll also add that we think they offered a really good value/bang for your buck, all things considered. Really commend them for what they've managed to put together. Hope this helps!

Electric Sugar was amazing!! I highly recommend them as a DJ service and band. Our wedding reception wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without them! They were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful from day one. They were on top of everything and super communicative throughout the process, which made things so much less stressful. We felt like we were in great hands. They made sure to double check with us to make sure we were 100% happy with how things would go. They helped make the night of dancing super fun and lively! Their prices were also really reasonable, and they went above and beyond of what was expected. Hire them for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

Electric Sugar played our recent party and they were awesome! Great energy and an amazing, eclectic mix of classics and current hits. Communication and scheduling were a breeze. Having a live band is definitely worth it over a DJ. We hope to have them play for us again!

I don’t know where to start with Dillon and Electric Sugar…. They were incredible. Plain and simple. I worked with Dillon leading up to wedding weekend and he was kind, prompt, professional, and fun. We worked together to create a set list that was perfect for our taste in music. Dillon also played guitar at our ceremony and it was beautiful. He did a combo of guitar and prerecorded music per our request and it was perfect. He brought all the equipment needed for our officiant to have a microphone as well. The Electric Sugar band as a whole played for our reception. We had them for 3 hours and the dance floor was packed for 3 hours. They were so much fun and SO talented!!! It was the best party and they were a huge reason behind it! I would recommend them to anyone for their wedding or any other occasion they are looking to add spice and energy too. If we ever host another event where music is needed I would book them in a heartbeat.

Electric Sugar exceeded all of our expectations. Dillon was flexible as our plans changed last minute due to the weather. He was incredibly accommodating, and the band brought great energy. People couldn't believe how great they sounded, and their range, with a 3-piece band. We received so many compliments that night and in the days after. Would absolutely have them again and recommend them to others.

The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding!

From the very first note to the last encore, this band absolutely stunned everyone — people barely left the dance floor, and the energy was electric all night long!

Their setlist was unmatched — an abundance of song choices that made it feel like the possibilities were endless. Every generation felt represented, from timeless classics to today’s hits, and they flowed seamlessly from one great moment to the next. "Pink Pony Club" literally had the dance floor packed, even though it wasn't even on the original song choice list.

Working with Dillon was an absolute dream. He was attentive, kind, and professional from start to finish. He listened to what we wanted, reassured us through the planning process, and took care of every detail. Not only did he offer to emcee (and did an amazing job coordinating), but he also ensured every special dance and moment went off without a hitch. Dillon and the band even learned our first dance song and went the extra mile to perform another special request just for my groom — it was so personal and unforgettable.

Thanks to them, our wedding turned into the party of a lifetime. We’re still receiving compliments about how amazing the band was. If you want to create a truly unforgettable wedding experience, book them now. You will not regret it!
