From the very first phone call with Eleni from El Stories, I knew our collaboration would be smooth and enjoyable. We instantly had great chemistry, and she understood exactly how we envisioned our wedding day—even though it was quite unconventional by Greek standards. Although we didn’t hire her for full planning services (only wedding-day coordination and decorations), Eleni was consistently supportive. Working with El stories was like a dream.

My husband, Alex, and I both live in the states and wanted to have a wedding celebration that could include my Yiayia, who can no longer travel due to her age. Since we do not live in Greece, we needed a wedding planner to coordinate with vendors on our behalf. El stories went above and beyond-- she knew exactly how to accommodate each and every one of our requests and was thoughtful and communicative, even with a 10 hour time difference between Greece and California. She knew of a celebrant who spoke English, Greek, and Spanish, handled the flowers and party favors, and helped us find an amazing band that even a group of awkward game developers (both ours + our guests' profession) would dance to.

At around 22:00 the night before our wedding, Alex and I learned that taxi drivers all around Greece would be on strike the following day. We had initially planned for the bridal party, groom, groomsmen, and photographers to use taxis to get from Athens' city center to the wedding venue (about 40 minutes away). Immediately, El stories was on it-- solving the problem and arranging transportation for everyone to arrive on time.

The wedding itself was perfect-- more so than I could ever imagine. I was worried that it would feel empty, as the venue was large and we only had around 30 guests attend. Instead, it was cozy and full of warmth. The tables were arranged in one long formation so that guests were able to talk with each other and dance as they liked. The flowers were stunning, and somehow, everything went off without a hitch. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding planner and we are so thankful for everything that El stories put together.

We were very satisfied with the decoration & planning services by Elena and Yiota for our wedding. They were very kind and professional, made sure that they listened to all our needs and the result was very beautiful. They were there at every step of the way, attentive and devoting time for all details. We appreciated their flexibility and human approach, as well as their creativity.
