Getting married in Greece was always my dream but like many other couples before us, organising a wedding abroad can be quite daunting. We were so blessed to have found Eleni and Elstories who was with us at every stage of our journey. From the initial consultation, Eleni took the time to ask what we wanted and cater for our dream wedding but at every step was not afraid to share ideas where she thought her experience would assist. This was a great comfort as her planning services were first class throughout as well as her execution of the most beautiful flowers and displays. Eleni would always offer multiple ideas to cover all ranges of budgets and never made us feel we had to do things her way. Throughout the journey, her wedding planning made not only our lives easier, but the quality in her work was evident simply through the reactions of our guests who were left speechless by her displays. No matter what time it was, Eleni was always available to us to discuss any last details or concerns we had which laid our minds at rest... a true professional, artist and now friend and we cannot recommend her services enough for anyone getting married in Athens.

As an American planning a wedding in Greece, there were naturally moments where I worried about language barriers, cultural differences, logistics, and simply not being able to be physically present for most of the planning process. From day one, Eleni made me feel completely included. Even though my husband is Greek, she always made a point to communicate with both of us and ensure I understood every decision, detail, and recommendation. I never felt like I was on the outside looking in.

What impressed me most was how much she genuinely cared. She was organized, responsive, honest when we needed guidance, and incredibly patient throughout a process that lasted well over a year. On the wedding day itself, she and her team worked tirelessly from start to finish. While everyone else was celebrating, she was still making sure every detail was taken care of. Knowing she was there allowed us to fully enjoy the day without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes.

Our wedding exceeded every expectation we had, and a huge part of that was because of Eleni! We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone planning a wedding! She is quite literally the BEST at what she does!

From the very first phone call with Eleni from El Stories, I knew our collaboration would be smooth and enjoyable. We instantly had great chemistry, and she understood exactly how we envisioned our wedding day—even though it was quite unconventional by Greek standards. Her extensive experience working with people and couples from all over the world was evident; she was full of ideas, suggestions, and creative solutions that fit perfectly within our budget.
Although we didn’t hire her for full planning services (only wedding-day coordination and decorations), Eleni was consistently supportive. She offered valuable recommendations for other vendors, including photographers, and even gathered offers on our behalf. I truly cannot express how grateful we are to have had her as our planner.
