After undergoing a complete renovation in 2010, El Chorro now boasts nine event venues that cater to groups of all sizes. They include:
The Casa Paloma Pavilion
The pavilion is one of El Chorro’s most distinctive venues, opening onto a series of exterior patios, fireplaces and gardens all framed by Camelback and Mummy Mountains. With a full stage and dance floor, the pavilion can accommodate up to 300 guests.
The Classroom Bar
One of El Chorro’s oldest spaces, the original bar setting was carefully restored to reflect its roots while accommodating modern needs. Originally built in 1934, the private venue features an iconic copper-top fireplace and includes the lounge, patio and bocce lawn. Up to 150 guests can enjoy the authentic Arizona indoor-outdoor setting of the Classroom Bar.
At 6,500 square-feet, the Casa Pavillion Wedding Lawn is the largest of the three lawns, accommodating up to 300 guests. Its lush, manicured landscape is accompanied by a full stage area, making it ideal for larger gatherings.
The Classroom Event Lawn, an extension of the Classroom Bar, can be accessed through the bar or a private, exterior gateway. Event-goers will take pleasure in the charming fire pits and fireplace conversation areas, all in the shadow of Mummy Mountain.
Adjacent to the famed El Chorro Patio, the South Lawn can accommodate between 30 to 120 guests, a flexible setting perfect for more intimate gatherings.
The Gallery and Landmark Rooms open to the famed South Patio and feature expanisve desert views. Both part of El Chorro’s original historic structure, each offers an open floor plan that can be combined to accommodate upe to 120 guests. Equally as versatile, the Hampton Suite can be arranged in a casual living/dining setup for 8 – 20 guests or expanded to accommodate up to 40 guests.
Complementing El Chorro’s beautiful venues and expertise in event planning is its acclaimed cuisine. The wedding specialists and culinary team at El Chorro assist couples in creating menus as unique as the special occasion itself whether is a formal dinner or a casual buffet.

Incredible venue and staff!
We had a destination wedding and got married at El Chorro! It was not only the most incredible views and venue but it was the most perfect day! Between the staff and the vendors we had the smoothest wedding planning as well as wedding day! We can’t thank El Chorro enough for putting together the most perfect day for us! Our photographer Megan Noll caught the beauty of this day perfectly as well!Sent on 01/18/2020

Perfect desert chic venue!
We were obsessed with El Chorro from the moment we drives onto the grounds. It was exactly what we were looking for! Scottsdale was a destination wedding for us, and we wanted the desert vibe, and didn’t want a ballroom wedding. We were married on the Casa Paloma Lawn (picture perfect with Camelback Mountain in the background)! We had cocktail hour out on the patio and then dinner and reception inside Casa Paloma. The building is very unique and the grounds are beautiful!
It was so much fun getting finishing touches ready in the bridal suite! It’s so beautiful!
El Chorro was so much fun! Food was delicious and it was the best venue we had been to (we have been to 20+ weddings!). We loved it all so much!
Special thanks to Lindsay-as she was super helpful coordinating everything for us!Sent on 11/29/2019

Gorgeous wedding venue
Soon after getting engaged, we decided that we would love to host our wedding at El Chorro. We love the food and the grounds, and thought it would be an incredible location. We were fortunate to get one of their last Saturdays in the fall of 2019 and I'm so glad because I can't imagine our wedding anywhere else now. We met Lindsey Rendon, Director of Sales & Catering, soon after and even though she was a representative of the venue - she made herself available for every possible question I could throw at her! Her insight and knowledge was so valuable and greatly appreciated as we began our planning. On the day of - all I can say is WOW. The El Chorro staff went above & beyond to take care of us and our guests. Simply the sweetest staff, who also happened to be incredibly efficient and service minded. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food (sticky buns for the win!) or the venue itself. The landscaping is simply stunning and a real show off - especially for our non AZ locals in attendance. Thank you to Lindsey and her team for helping us create memories that are going to last a lifetime!Sent on 10/30/2019
We had the pleasure of photographing our first wedding at El Chorro this past spring and we were so impressed with the staff and the grounds. There are beautiful nooks perfect for photos around every corner and fantastic mountainous backdrops for the ceremony and reception. Our clients absolutely loved having their reception there and we can't wait to shoot another wedding day there capturing all the love and moments of our clients day, paired perfectly with the fabulous backdrop of El Chorro.
