We had our destination wedding on 3/31/23 in the classroom bar and bocce lawn space. The photos do not do it justice!! It is a gorgeous space and was the perfect size for our wedding with 75 guests. The food was amazing. The guests loved the bartenders- they were so friendly!! They made everything very easy. We could not have found a better venue! Highly recommend for all brides!! -

The BEST Venue in Arizona
El Chorro was an absolute dream for our wedding in May 2022! It is hard to top the beautiful space, combining both lush scenery and desert with Camelback Mountain as a backdrop. There are so many amazing ways to make the space look and feel like your own, despite the 1000s of weddings held there. They do a great job of recommending top vendors from the valley, I think I used only their recs to be honest, so they know the space extremely well. Lindsey and the staff are super amazing and accommodating! The food, extremely similar to the restaurant, was great! I had so many compliments on the apps! We weren’t going to put the Mac and Cheese Balls in since it seemed more casual, but our planner insisted. Highly recommend! I cannot wait to go back for our anniversary for year and years to come!
PS The photos aren't even my professional ones. Too excited to wait! Just from my friends so the venue really is that beautiful in person! -

I'd dreamed about getting married at El Chorro growing up in Phoenix, and our intimate Sunday brunch wedding exceeded ALL expectations! We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue, a better group of vendors, or a more professional and efficient catering/F&B staff. This venue is truly worth every penny. We heard from every single guest at least once about how stunning the venue was, how amazing the food and drinks were (HIGHLY recommend their brunch menu!), and what a great time they had. Thank you, El Chorro! -

I cannot say enough good things about El Chorro. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. When we first got engaged I knew that I wanted a very desert feel wedding as my family lives in Toronto and my husband's lives in NJ. I looked at SO many venues and when we arrived at El Chorro I instantly knew it was the venue for us. It is absolutely gorgeous. As far as staff, Lindsey is amazing. I leaned on her so much during the wedding process as we had to make MANY changes to the wedding due to covid. The week of the wedding the forecast said it was going to rain and we had to pretty much replan the wedding and Lindsey was just the easiest person to work with. We got so many compliments on the food as well, our guests said it was the best wedding dinner they had ever had and I couldn't agree more. Book this venue, you will not regret it! -

El Chorro is exactly what I wanted for our day. The biggest draw to me was the stunning outdoor ceremony with a mountain backdrop. As a bride in heels I appreciated that the lawn is AstroTurf so it’s bunch easier to walk on than muddy grass.
The food is AMAZING!! Good luck just picking two items off the menu. They also did an amazing job catering to our specific desires.
For example, we had a dry wedding; instead of just not serving drinks at all, Lindsey and the rest of the El Chorro team worked with us on a mocktails menu!
We used Casa Paloma for the reception and it was stunning, as well. I love the exposed beams. We chose to use drapes which softened the dealing a bit, but it’s stunning with or without them.
Lindsey is amazing to work with and will give you great recommendations. If you’re going with El Chorro I 10/10 would recommend you try to land Revel Wedding Co. as your planning team (see my bio for their page). They contract with El Chorro and are amazing, as well.
Happy wedding season! If you end up nicking El Chorro you won’t regret it! -

El Chorro is a dream venue between two mountains, lush greenery, fire places, delicious food and incredibly caring staff. We did a non traditional wedding and Lindsey helped us create something incredibly special. Lindsey was incredible to work with, efficient and genuinely cared about making this a memorable experience for us. -

Incredible venue and staff!
We had a destination wedding and got married at El Chorro! It was not only the most incredible views and venue but it was the most perfect day! Between the staff and the vendors we had the smoothest wedding planning as well as wedding day! We can’t thank El Chorro enough for putting together the most perfect day for us! Our photographer Megan Noll caught the beauty of this day perfectly as well! -

El Chorro was my immediate choice the second I walked through the entrance. The greenery and THAT backdrop are the most romantic of all venues I toured. The team at El Chorro and the food sealed it for us. I am so grateful Revel Wedding Co. worked so well alongside El Chorro. My wedding was an absolute dream and some. We were obsessed with El Chorro from the moment we drives onto the grounds. It was exactly what we were looking for! Scottsdale was a destination wedding for us, and we wanted the desert vibe, and didn’t want a ballroom wedding. We were married on the Casa Paloma Lawn (picture perfect with Camelback Mountain in the background)! We had cocktail hour out on the patio and then dinner and reception inside Casa Paloma. The building is very unique and the grounds are beautiful!
It was so much fun getting finishing touches ready in the bridal suite! It’s so beautiful!
El Chorro was so much fun! Food was delicious and it was the best venue we had been to (we have been to 20+ weddings!). We loved it all so much!

Soon after getting engaged, we decided that we would love to host our wedding at El Chorro. We love the food and the grounds, and thought it would be an incredible location. We were fortunate to get one of their last Saturdays in the fall of 2019 and I'm so glad because I can't imagine our wedding anywhere else now. We met Lindsey Rendon, Director of Sales & Catering, soon after and even though she was a representative of the venue - she made herself available for every possible question I could throw at her! Her insight and knowledge was so valuable and greatly appreciated as we began our planning. On the day of - all I can say is WOW. The El Chorro staff went above & beyond to take care of us and our guests. Simply the sweetest staff, who also happened to be incredibly efficient and service minded. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food (sticky buns for the win!) or the venue itself. The landscaping is simply stunning and a real show off - especially for our non AZ locals in attendance. Thank you to Lindsey and her team for helping us create memories that are going to last a lifetime! -

Erika Sent on 03/20/2017El Chorro is the most perfect blank canvas for ANY bride to execute her unique vision and esthetic.
Once I realized we had both an outdoor and indoor option for weather / backup plan, I felt great about the space. You can be sure that as a self-proclaimed foodie, the menu selections were of the highest priority to me when choosing a venue.
Lindsey was our point of contact at El Chorro and she was incredibly helpful!!! Since DAY 1 she has answered question via phone and email about the venue contract, the weather, the food, the layout, the headcount, and when we were not able to make an official wedding tasting mid week due to my husband's military work schedule, she was able to send us a dining card so we could take a date night on a weekend to El Chorro and try the items we were most interested in for the wedding menu!
The staff and bartenders the evening of our event were amazing. Our special attendant / waitress to our head table and my bridal suite was so sweet and always a step ahead of our drink refills and anything we may have needed the entire evening. Guests loved the timeliness of our passed appetizers. And the family style menu we selected was something that many of them had not experienced at a wedding before and they were VERY impressed with the plating and passing of a variety of foodie selections!

Liz Sent on 10/22/2015El Chorro is truly one of the most beautiful places in all of Arizona. The backdrop of Camelback and the combination of desert and lush green landscape was a total dream come true. Lindsey was always prompt in responding to any phone call, email or question that we had and she was a delight to work with! We are so thankful that we were able to have our wedding ceremony and reception here and all of guests raved about the dinner selections!! We will most definitely be celebrating every anniversary back at El Chorro!
