We had the pleasure of working with Eastlyn and Joshua, as they where our photographers/videographers for our wedding at the end of September in Jackson hole WY, they are so friendly and I cried when I saw my pictures they captured our day so perfect it was a day to remember. As we celebrate our one year anniversary, we are reminded of how pleased we are that Eastlyn and Joshua photograph our day. I wouldn’t say I have the best memory, so the story told through these photos, those “in-between moments” that e&j are so fond of, help to bring us back to the most fun, love-filled day we have ever had. We wanted photographers to capture the natural beauty of our venue, the unstaged smiles of our guests, and the range of emotions felt throughout the day. Weddings can be a whirlwind with so much to take in. There's no way to see everything going on and there will definitely be details you miss. Where to begin? Just a disclaimer, I absolutely love these two and their values. My wife and I fell in love with their photography and more importantly, their values a couple of years prior to our wedding. So when the time came for us to decide who we wanted to capture our story the answer was really clear for us. I loved that Joshua and Eastlyn were really intentional with getting to know us through our journey leading up until the wedding. So that on wedding day they had a great sense of who we were and our values and therefore really captured what was important to us. If you the bride and groom who is looking for a photography team that really "gets" and understands the gravity of a wedding day I can't really think of anyone better than Josh and Eastlyn. I think that is why my wife and I are so impressed with them and their work because with each photo they're not merely trying to imitate a popular photo trend or copy a Pinterest board... they're really striving to capture the elegance of a moment that without any documentation could go unnoticed. I think all of this to say, Josh and Eastlyn are true artists and not merely photographers.

In short: Eastlyn and Josh were sweet, kind, hard working, and the results were so beautiful they made us cry.

We looked through so many photographers before we found Eastlyn and Joshua’s work and fell in love with it. It might have been the timeless way they edit their images, or the raw emotion portrayed in them, but booking them for our wedding was the decision we were the most sure about (other than the decision to marry each other, of course!)

Meeting them made us even happier with our choice. Eastlyn and Josh are one of the sweetest couples I know. Eastlyn’s gentle nature and Josh’s boundless enthusiasm made Marcus and I instantly feel comfortable with them, and now we count them as dear friends. They worked so hard whilst simultaneously fitting right in with our guests (every guest individually told me how lovely our photographers were) and even helping with wedding day chores. Your wedding photographer is going to be there throughout all of the most intimate moments of your day, therefore it’s SO important you like them as well as their work. Not only because if you’re not relaxed it will show in the photos, but because they’ll be in all of your wedding day memories, too.

Throughout the day, they helped us create moments in which we wrote letters to each other and took time to bask in our emotions. Without their encouragement to pause and be present for a while, our wedding day may have slipped away before we knew it. Now, when I look back, some of my favourite memories of that day involve Marcus and I whispering to each other away from the craziness, grasping each other’s hands and soaking in the moment whilst Eastlyn quietly clicked away.

When we received our wedding photos, they brought us right back to those moments. They were beautiful. Eastlyn’s edits perfectly illustrated the way the day had felt. The tones were soft and fresh, making the images look timeless rather than on trend. The photos themselves felt like poetry. They perfectly tell the story of our day with authentic smiles, laughs, and tender moments. There were the classic group portraits to keep the family happy, but other than that, each captured moment depicts a real memory rather than a forced pose, and they worked in such a way that we rarely knew we were being photographed.
