Our cake was so delicious! They had a decent selection of flavors, and they were all delicious. Everyone loved the cake and was happy we ordered enough for everyone to have seconds. We didn't have much left over it was so popular! The price was incredible too, way less than any other bakery we looked at.

My husband and I were just married in Mackinac Island. He grew up near Ames and had always loved the cake from Dutch Oven Bakery. We decided that we wanted our guests to share in the delicious cakes that they make, so Courtney worked very diligently with us to figure out how we could transport a two-tiered cake plus sheet cakes all the way to Mackinac Island. She decorated the cake exactly as we requested, and helped us plan the trip to make sure the cakes would make it safely. We transported the cakes in large cooler, and they were beautiful and delicious for the wedding!! I am not usually a fan of frosting, but on these cakes it is exceptional! And the cake itself is of course delicious! All of our guests commented on how great the cake was. The prices here are great, the service is outstanding, and they go above and beyond to make your dream come true. We will continue to get cake from Dutch Oven Bakery, no matter how far away we might be!!
