Duo Purla is a wedding music group based out of Buffalo, New York. Guitarist Tom Torrisi is a classical guitarist. As a soloist, he has been performing throughout the United States and the United Kingdom for many years. He holds a doctoral degree from the Eastman School of Music, has received top honors in numerous competitions, and has premiered multiple original compositions. Tom is also the co-founder of Rochester Classical Guitar, an organization that aims to enrich the community by providing education and access to performance opportunities. He also performs regularly with other Buffalo-based violinists as Duo Purla. Together they have been wowing audiences for years, giving a unique touch to any event they play.
