My husband and I knew that we wanted a Classical Guitarist for our wedding ceremony and we began searching. When we listened to Jimmy play in a video we found, we crossed our fingers that he would be available--and he was! My Dad played Classical Guitar beautifully and he passed away 2 years before my wedding. I knew that it would be a very bittersweet moment to have Jimmy playing some of the same songs that my dad did--but it meant so much to my Mom, sister and I and it was perfect. I really liked Jimmy's energy and attitude as a person, and absolutely love his talent. My husband and I joked after the wedding--wishing that Jimmy could just come to our house and play the guitar on occasion :)

We booked Jimmy to play guitar for our wedding ceremony and pre ceremony and he was fabulous! He was quick to communicate with me through email and had a wide variety of songs he could play -- he even played a few songs that I requested that were not on his list of songs! Dr Jimmy Moore was a beautiful addition to our wedding. He played for the ceremony as well as the cocktail hour, and I was beyond pleased. We had quite a few musicians among our guest list, and everyone commented about how great he was. He worked with us to customize our ceremony music, and he arrived earlier than he promised. Dr. Jimmy Moore was very professional and available to answer our questions from day one. He helped us select music for our ceremony from his huge song list and offered to customize music if we desired! He also played during our cocktail hour delighting guests with well known feel good songs that kept everyone talking. All night I kept hearing about how everyone LOVED the guy with the ukulele!
What I loved was his fun attitude the day of the wedding even playing a request called out from the crowd. As soon as we met him we knew he had everything under control. He worked very well with our other vendors and everything for the ceremony was timed perfectly.
We would very highly recommend Dr. Moore and are searching for another event to throw so we can hire him again! Do yourself a favor and A) splurge for a little live music and B) hire Dr. Moore to play it for you.

The music during the ceremony was perfect! Non-traditional, our style, and just beautiful. Jimmy was fun to work with too. He's very talented and really wants to make your day...well, your day. We also had him for cocktail hour and heard that he was wonderful.

I cannot begin to express how talented this musician is or how wonderful it was to have him at my ceremony – he made one of my only wedding-day dreams come true in playing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow/What a Wonderful World” on uke as I walked down the aisle. All my guests thought his acoustic guitar playing was beautiful and I’m still getting compliments about him today! I definitely, definitely recommend Dr. Jimmy to any bride!

He had a lot of songs to choose from but was also happy to play requests for songs not on his list. We wanted Over the Rainbow played on the ukelele and he did so beautifully. I loved walking down the aisle to him playing the song I chose. It was just how I imagined it. He was a great addition to our wedding. My only disappointment is that I didn't get to hear more of him.
