I was dizzy from staring at wedding photography portfolios for days, and they all started to look the same, until I saw Peter's work. As an artist and designer, I thought Peter's work stood out. When I shared it with my fiance, he agreed wholeheartedly. His style leans more towards photo-journalistic, so the work is present and real, yet beautiful and captivating. He is able to capture raw emotion, joy, and celebration. If you want posed photos, you get that too. Though my favorites, and his clear strength, is in the candid moments. Our package included all the work in digital format, black and white and color, and we found his fees extremely reasonable, especially for the quality. He worked alone, but you can opt for a second photographer. Our guests said he was everywhere and working hard, yet he was also stealthy and out of view. During the planning process, he was timely and responsive with phone meetings. He was kind and easy to work with. Most importantly, we LOVE our photos!!!

I didn’t want a wedding photographer, I wanted a photographer. Someone with a keen eye, a sense of composition and storytelling, and always on the lookout for a small and telling moment that would encapsulate the day. Sounds like a tall order, right? Not with Peter.

My husband and I met him after we’d had a few meetings with a few perfectly competent, talented, and friendly photographers – but who hadn’t grabbed us. When we met Peter, though, he showed us his work for weddings, which gave us a sense of how he follows the wedding day and its characters, and his personal work, which showed a profound appreciation for his subjects and frankly, for PEOPLE. And on a day when all of our favorites would be there, we wanted someone who would capture what they’re about. Us too, of course, but we knew we’d have limited time with each person there, and wanted Peter to capture what we would inevitably miss.

In the days leading up to the wedding, he helped talk us through what we wanted and helped us feel confident about a potential rain plan. Day-of, he fit right into the maelstrom, calmly weathered a few snafus, wrangled a 13-person bridal party and both of our families, and created a body of work that makes me proud of our choice of photographer, and of the event we so painstakingly put together.

Peter did a beautiful job. I was proud to be able to recommend him to a very satisfied friend who got married at our same venue less than 2 months later. We also received a link of a first batch of photos just a few days after the wedding, and were delighted to be able to share them with our guests.

Peter was my husband's and my wedding photographer and I can not sing his praises enough. He did -exactly- what we wanted and we love all of our wedding photos so much. He captured so many beautiful and happy moments. I'll admit, I cried quite a bit clicking our web through our web gallery and remembering it all.

We fell in love with Peter's work because of his knack for capturing candid, real moments. We had a portrait session with our family and bridal party after our ceremony and Peter was very calm and organized. Our absolute favorite shots from our wedding, though, were the ones Peter captured when we weren't even looking. He has a manner about him that is so uninvasive that most of the time we were completely unaware of his taking our picture.

Peter got us our pictures in a very timely manner. We had such a good time going through all of them and choosing which ones we wanted to print and get framed and for our wedding album, although I will confess that was a challenge too because there were so many great ones to choose from.
