Dornan's in Moose, Wyoming provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding and the reception was just what we had envisioned. Dawn at Dornan's was great to work with. She provided clear ideas of budget, menu, decorations, and was flexible when we had questions or changes to make. The staff at Dornan's, including the wine shop, and wait staff were incredible.

We had our reception at Dornans. They were fantastic to work with, and kept in constant communication with us. They were also flexible with the menu, making a few subtitutions for our meal. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect.

Couldn't have picked a better spot than Dornan's for our wedding reception in Grand Teton National park!
Word of mouth speaks volumes and I haven't heard a bad thing about this place! Our guests are still raving about the food!! Kids had a blast! can't wait to go back!

The pros: Dornan's is an absolutely stunning location, with unmatched views of the Tetons. The food is okay.
The cons: In my 31 years of life I have never dealt with the level of unprofessionalism that I encountered when organizing my rehearsal dinner at Dornan's. I think I would have had an easier time getting in touch with the President of the United States than with the event coordinator, Dawn. I'm not sure how one gets the title of event coordinator without being available to assist with any sort of coordination. Dawn made the planning for my rehearsal dinner incredibly stressful. She gave me a verbal commitment that we had a reservation for our date, but then literally went out of touch for SIX MONTHS, during which time I did not have a written contract with Dornan's, leading me to grow increasingly concerned that we needed to find another option for our rehearsal. I called and emailed probably 25 times with no response. As the day approached, Dawn responded to my emails with convoluted and contradicting responses. Finally, during the week preceding the big day, I needed help with a question related to flowers and decor at Dornan's. Of course Dawn did not answer the phone or return calls. My mom ended up arranging the flowers and setting them up 45 minutes before the dinner started.
The few times I was able to get in touch with Dawn she was condescending and not very pleasant. I understand that Dornan's is a popular place to hold events and Dawn is a busy woman - but guess what, so was every other vendor I worked with, and they were almost always incredibly responsive, cordial, and made me feel like my wedding events were their main focus. Had I been able to find another venue once I realized the service we were paying for, I would have.
