Highest possible recommendation. Michael and Brit were absolutely exceptional. They were nothing short of incredible. They are meticulous, cutting-edge, professional, timely, and always go above and beyond. Michael and Brit never settle. They are constantly thinking of new, creative ideas to film taking the stress of creativity out of the bride and groom. However, if you have anything that you want, they will bend over backwards to make it possible. My advice: contact Michael. If they are available for your date then schedule a meeting ASAP. As soon as you meet them, you will be sold. If you don't want to rely on my review or any other, fine. Spend 30 minutes with those two and you will be sold immediately. They make you feel like friends that truly care about you and your day. Because they do. I literally had guests commenting on how much they liked our photographers. Despite the fact my family was not paying attention, socializing, and being difficult during pictures, Michael and Brit did an outstanding job of keeping everyone ready without being rude or pushy. They were able to find that balance which is so difficult especially with people you do not know. They handled the situation incredibly professionally. Bottom line is photography is one of the most important parts about the wedding once it ends. It is one thing that will allow you to relive your day forever. Do not skimp out. If you hire Doerman Photography it will be the best decision you have ever made. They receive my absolute highest recommendation.

Michael and his assistant Britanie were great to work with! They were very professional, made me and my wedding party feel at ease, and of course captured some great photos.

To me, one of the most important photos was the kiss. Michael's portfolio showed several kiss photos and that was a big impact on my husband and I choosing him. He fulfilled my expectations, even though our church didn't allow the photographers to move during the ceremony! Priceless photos!

I also really appreciate that he was willing to travel several hours to our wedding and he was available all day!

The turn around time was great as well. We had a second reception in another state three weeks later and Michael was able to get me a sampling of photos to show for that. The rest of the my pictures were available within two months!

I am a photographer, and finding my wedding photographer was the hardest decision I had to make during my wedding planning! Michael and Britanie were amazing!! They covered our entire day from getting ready to pumpkin bowling at the close of the reception. They made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and managed to include almost everyone from the wedding in our photos. We had our pictures in record time!! Michael Doerman is an amazing photographer! He was creative, captured all the important images, didn't get in the way of the guests who were trying to watch the ceremony, and made us all feel like movie stars/models. I was one of the bridesmaids for the wedding where I met him at, and after seeing the pictures from the bride, I will most likely hire him for my wedding! I know they'll get every shot and every moment, as they of my friend's wedding. The bride felt comfortable, the bridesmaids felt comfortable, and taking pictures wasn't stressful like I expected. He really made us look fabulous too! Like Vogue magazine cover! His team was really polite and professional. They knew what to do and got the job done. I really liked how there were two photographers to capture wedding activities from different angles, and they even split up to take pictures of the guys and the girls getting ready. Those pictures were awesome :) My friend received a wedding album from him and it was gorgeousss!!!

Michael was highly recommended to us. Though he is based in Tennessee, he agreed to travel to the Chicago area to photograph our wedding, and he couldn't have been more accommodating about it. He quickly responded to all of our e-mails, he met with us in person while he was in town for the holidays, and when the wedding weekend approached, he accepted our offer to come up the day before with his assistant, Britanie, to partake in our family picnic festivities and scope out the site of our upcoming nuptials for good photo-op locations.

Michael and Britanie were on time (if not early!) the day of the wedding, and they stayed with us for more than 10 hours, until the very end of the reception. They were great sports about being pulled aside by people all night, asking them to take a photo. They even got into the spirit of the night and seemed to have fun!

We just got our photo disc in the mail, and not a single moment was missed - we couldn't be happier with the results. Michael's creativity shines in his photos. He has a true appreciation for simplicity, he always finds just the right angle, and he makes every element look gorgeous.
