DJ Zimmie is incredible! I wanted to make sure there was enough of a mix of songs that both the younger and the older people would be able to dance to and he nailed it. He knows exactly how to read a crowd and make sure there’s always the right amount of energy on the dance floor. Countless people have told me how amazing he was that night and how they couldn’t take a break from the dancing because every song that came on was better than the last. I wanted a serious dance party for our wedding and we got it! My only regret is we can’t throw a party like that every weekend!

Dj Zimmie performed beyond our expectations and truly was able to get all 200 guests on the dance floor throughout the night. From the music during cocktail hour, dinner and after, Zimmie was able to create an atmosphere that everyone enjoyed to the fullest. I think that we must have had at least two dozen guest inquire about our dj and are likely to consider his services in the future. We would recommend DJ Zimmie to anyone who wants to have one of the best in the business!

Beyond professional and very experienced. He had no problem acting as our MC as well and has a great understanding of wedding timing and reading the crowd. He's accommodating while still offering guidance and telling you like it is. Keeping everyone on the dance floor was one of our priorities for the night and he made that happen. It was an absolute rager! We personally love electronic music and he did a great job of incorporating dance music without alienating those who like hip hop, pop, and the classics. People left our wedding saying how great the DJ was and how much fun they had dancing.

This review is long overdue. DJ Zimmie was great and super responsive leading up to the wedding. We met one another, discussed music, got along swimmingly and I decided he was the DJ for our wedding. On the big day, however, he went a bit rogue. I sent quite a detailed playlist (songs to play during cocktails, during dinner, for the dance floor). He played most of my songs on lower volume during dinner including my dance songs and then kind of did his own thing once it was time to party...Nothing on my list would suggest I would want to listen to Katy Perry, for example, but that's what he played. I expressly said I liked oldies, hip hop, Bowie...
AND when I, the bride, made a request midday through, he blew me off and acted dismissive. I was so disappointed but it looks like most others have had much better experiences with him so perhaps we just had bad luck.
