What an asset to our wedding! The DJ they sent was AWESOME! They did everything they claimed, and even went above what we wanted to make sure that everything on the day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. They had every music selection as promised, they thought of things for our wedding that we haven't event thought about. They were even more educated about weddings than our hired wedding planner! The only thing they missed, was the last call for the bar at the end of the night, but can you blame the DJ, he was having fun with a packed dance floor and I enjoyed every song! Perfectly done DJ Sound! Thank you!

We booked DJ Sound Productions & LLC after an online search. They were quick to respond to our request, gave us all the information right away, and were extremely pleasant to communicate with, so we booked them right away. Ours was a multicultural wedding at Aster Cafe and we had many Indian guests as well as American guests. Our biggest concern was whether the DJ would be able to bring the different groups together on the dance floor, but DJ Dave was absolutely amazing! He had EVERYONE on the dance floor for three Bollywood songs back to back. Throughout the night he was good at assessing who was on the dance floor and adapted the music based on that. Our guests had a great time on the dance floor and we couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend this company!

Me and Melissa were impressed on how they had every song we asked for. A "can-do" policy and never once did we feel like just another client. Our wedding was at the Ivy Hotel in Minneapolis and they brought the fun! Luke was incredible and obviously well knowledge in planning weddings. Our DJ, Dave was beyond incredible in engaging our families. We wish we could have that party again! You won't regret going with this company.

Attention to detail was paramount to our wedding. They did just that. They played my music selections, they played guests requests, and they were priced well below what they put into it. We also had uplighting that made our room beautiful and then when the dance came, went with all the other dance lighting and made the room feel more dancy and club like. It's an option I wouldn't go without. Thank you for doing such a great job!

When our other DJ service wasn't responsive, we looked for one that would fulfill our needs and wants. DJ Sound was more affordable and they kept us in the loop a lot. The day of was amazing. Music picked by DJ Luke perfectly, it was like he was reading our minds! THe lighting wen't with every song, not just blinking. We made the right choice after making the wrong choice and actually a blessing our 1st choice gave up on us but DJ Sound didn't and our wedding was more than we hoped for!

After our 1st "budget" DJ backed out, and our wedding coordinator decided that her ideas were more important than ours. Enter DJ Sound Productions. They took control. listened, and did all that we asked and their coordination was much better than our $1200 coordinator who made me cry many times with frustration. A wedding can't be perfect, but hiring this company was the perfect decision we'll ever make and suggest all other do too!

DJ Sound was absolutely wonderful to work with. Their professionalism, detailed and quick responses, willingness to help, and affordability was truly unmatched. I also loved their customer platform. 10/10 would recommend this DJ for your wedding or any other event.

Amazing service and dedicated team of experts! We had our wedding at our Home in Elk River, and DJ Sound Productions' Rocked it! The ceremony was perfect, the Dance was outstanding. They played every song that we wanted, they made all the announcements and most of all, out guests were thrilled and had a great time!

5 star review to hopefully show up high in their review list. They are straight up sending threats to my wife after yelling at her for "trying to get a free wedding" when she never even asked for a refund. Amazingly, none of our other vendors had any issues. Story below, buyer beware...

Josiah made us start our wedding 17 minutes late because he couldn't find the section of the venue we were in (and didn't try to contact anyone within the venue or alternate contacts provided), then after getting to the section and setting up, we had to continue to wait because he had to update his computer.

Three songs total were supposed to be played (and I need to emphasize this point - three TOTAL songs were to be played by Josiah. There was supposed to be seating music, but since we were anxiously waiting for Josiah to get set up, we told him to skip to the ceremony music!). The first song, the most important one, was never played. The second one, during the bride and bridesmaid's walk, was restarted for some reason, then after the second play of the song the music just sort of... stuttered off? Kind of like a techno remix of the song? Though I do have to admit - the third song during our kiss was perfectly on cue!

We paid 700 bucks for three songs. Dude came late, didn't play one of those songs, and did a poor job with one other. You're probably thinking to yourself "man, that sucks, I'm sure DJ Sound Productions offered an apology, at least!"

Luke at DJ Sound productions, when confronted, called my wife "petty", said that our "wedding wasn't disturbed" because of Josiah being tardy, and proceeded to blame her for miscommunication. During the call, he revealed that Josiah had been on mute in the background THE WHOLE TIME, and then Josiah and Luke tag-teamed yelling at my wife, not letting her speak, and putting words in her mouth.

At this point, I know what you're thinking. We probably screwed up an email somewhere, wires were crossed, Josiah's a good guy he probably had a bad day, maybe we're just overreacting, etc. In fact, I'll bet dollars to donuts that very soon there will be a response to this review from DJ Sound Productions saying some of these exact things, and maybe even accusing me of "slander", as he did when he spoke to my wife.

Here's the thing... I have videography to back up my claims, and documentation from DJ Sound Production's own systems (which they've now locked me out for some reason.... Funny considering I had access earlier today. It's okay though, I've taken screenshots of everything and exported all documents!)

If you are searching for a DJ for your event, I implore you to reconsider purchasing services from DJ Sound Productions. If you have another DJ in mind, pick them. If you have a friend or family member that could do it, choose them instead. If you have a bluetooth speaker and Spotify, you'll probably fare better than hiring DJ Sound Productions.
