DJ Sasha played great music and we ended up having a wonderful time at the reception. My rating may not reflect that but there were a few details that have left a bad taste in my mouth. First, he was unflexible prior to the wedding, being slow in email and meeting us at a location convenient to him not to us. Secondly we requested that he come to our rehearsal bc he was in charge of the music for our ceremony. He stated that he did not find it necessary but came because we were paying. At ceremony time it became clear that it was necessary and he not only wasted my money from the rehearsal, but made for a very pissed off and stressed out bride MOMENTS before walking down the aisle. I had only 2 songs to play, one for my bridal party and one for me. My song started playing while the bridal party was walking down the aisle, then stopped, skipped, began again, then stopped before picking up with the correct bridal song. He explained later that he was playing it on his iphone and it went to the home screen, therefore making it skip around. I might be confused, but if you are a real DJ shouldn't you have it on something other than your phone AND be reliable with it? So not only did he waste the rehearsal time but I was left seconds from walking down the aisle NOT happy. Then the reception went well until the end. I had typed up a list of song requests, etc. along with a timeline. The timeline stated that as the end came up to please announce for everyone to line up for our exit. Instead of doing this, he came to find me and (down to the minute) stated "Time's up. Do you want to pay me more to play longer?" I was APPALLED. That seems so unprofessional to me. I had previously given you instructions so PLEASE don't come harrass me and ask for money. While the music selection was great and we did end up with a very fun reception it was just these little things that left me unhappy. I would only recommend with the caveat to expect good music but not a lot of professionalism.
