DJ Kopec was very professional. Easy to work with. Kept the crowd the dancing the whole time.

Chris was absolutely amazing!!! I can’t tell you how many of our wedding guests told us they have never heard a DJ quite like him. He was able to get every single person out on the dance floor. We had every type of genre you can thing of; 70’s rock, 90s R&B, country, Disco..you name it, it was played! He was extremely professional and just awesome to work with! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who is looking for a DJ. Heck, I can’t wait to renew our vows so we can hire him again!

We had such an amazing experience with Chris Kopec at our wedding, He helped to keep everything on time, flowing well, offered great advice with timing of events and what to include and what not to include. Most of all he kept the party alive, read the crowd really well and our dance floor was packed the entire time playing a wide range of music (we requested everything from country to Hip Hop and classic rock). Everyone had a wonderful time and we had received so many compliments on how fun our wedding was, a large part of that due to Chris, his enthusiasm, awesome choice of music and incredible entertaining skills!

I had never planned a party before planning my own wedding, so I really had no idea how important it is to have a good DJ. In the days prior to the wedding, I gave DJ Kopec very little musical direction, because I really wasn't too sure what to expect. Many of the guests were family members and I wasn't too sure whether or not guests would do a lot of dancing. Boy, was I wrong.

During dinner, we asked DJ Kopec to play a mix between Coldplay and U2, along with any other musical selections he thought fit within that category. I remember seeing people swaying to the music as the salad was being served, and I could just tell that this was the beginning of an all-night dance party.

We did not have a typical wedding reception - there was no bridal party entrance, no introductions, no first dance, no cutting of the cake - we just wanted to have a good ole' party. So while there were a few things that we had planned not to do, there were even fewer things that we had actually planned to do. Instead of having a game plan, DJ Kopec read the crowd and played music according to what he saw. There were very few moments throughout the evening where the dance floor was less than 3/4 full. It was absolutely perfect.

So, let's say I learned my lesson about how important the music at a wedding is from DJ Kopec. DJ Kopec is one of the reasons guests are still raving about our wedding. As one guest said to me "your wedding was the greatest dance party I have ever been to." Another guest noted, "I don't think I ever stepped off the dance floor."

From the first time I met and heard DJ Kopec, I knew there was no way my wedding would take place without him present! Given that high energy, fun, dance music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding, we knew Chris would make this happen. We wanted our guests on the dance floor all night, partying, and having a great time, which is exactly what happened! Chris is professional, innovative, fun, easy going, and an absolute pleasure to work with. He made sure every song we asked to be played was played, understood our vision and ideal vibe, and prepared an incredible set list from the moment the first guest walked in until the last left. We love remixes and when we shared this with Chris, he took it upon himself to make sure he added some really cool versions of many songs to our evening. Our wedding was two weeks ago and we're still receiving emails, texts, and comments from our guests about how incredible the DJ was and how much the music contributed to the overall feeling in the room and truly made the wedding! He's the real deal! He knows his music, is in the know of what's trendy and new, and is the total opposite of your typical, cheesy DJ who would play your predictable wedding playlist. Chris genuinely cares about making your night the way you want it. He's the only DJ I'd ever recommend, and certainly the only DJ I'd ever hire for any future event of mine! We LOVE DJ Kopec!!!

DJ Kopec did our wedding on 6/26/15 and was absolutely phenomenal! We had a brief dialogue and some e-mail exchanges in the weeks leading up to our wedding so he could get some key songs down (first dances, etc) and a feel for us and our crowd and we let him run with the rest. The result was a packed dance floor and non stop dancing from start to finish. Every one of our friends who we spoke to said how much fun they had and how great the music was. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to work with him. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if your group likes to dance like ours does!

The most consistent takeaway from our wedding (besides the bride looking beautiful, of course) was that our DJ was incredible. We heard this all night and continue to hear it from our guests. As soon as the food plates were taken from the tables, Kopec sensed the crowd was ready to go so he asked if we were alright with skipping the slow momentum-building stuff and go right into dance music. He was right, the crowd got right on the floor and continued dancing until the very last song of the night. I strongly believe that music can make or break a wedding and dictate how the night unfolds for guests, so I had high expectations for my DJ but Kopec completely exceeded those expectations. I challenge you to find a better wedding DJ from Philly to DC than DJ Kopec.

My wife and I had seen Chris at a wedding 2 years ago and knew he was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. It wasn't until our reception before I remembered what made me book him...he starts, picks up, and drives the party all night long. Our dance floor was packed full the entire time and I only saw people sitting down to rest.

Chris played every song on the must-play list and improvised with a great matching style of what I had recommended. There were so many people praising him at the after party wishing he was still there.

I cannot say enough great things about DJ Kopec. He sets the stage for a romantic and elegant evening with Sinatra and Buble during the cocktail hour and dinner. His skills and professionalism keeps the reception activities organized and when it is time to get this party going he is able to read the crowd and provide the music that keeps the dance floor hopping. When I told guests we were using the same DJ as my first daughter's wedding they were excited and happy knowing we were going to dance into the night. DJ Kopec is fantastic! He played a great mix of music that kept all of our guests on their feet the whole night. When we were having difficulties picking the music out for a particular part of the reception, he was very helpful with his suggestions and reasoning behind certain songs. He was able to keep everything running smoothly during the reception so that was one less thing I had to worry about. I would definitely recommend DJ Kopec!!
