We were connected with DJ John Piazza through our wedding planner. We completely hit it off with him on our initial phone call. He completely “got” our musical taste and we felt at ease talking to him - kind of like we were talking to an old friend. You can tell that DJ John is so passionate about what he does and takes a vested interest in making sure the wedding music is reflective of the couple. As someone who is very particular with the songs he wants played, I was nervous about handing over the reins to someone else. DJ John not only incorporated all of our must-plays during dancing, but he kept the hits coming. He mixed in unexpected surprises that elicited responses like “OMG,” “YES” and “I LOVE THIS SONG” from our guests. We had directed him to keep the party pop focused with crowd pleasing throwbacks that would get everyone going. Seriously, the dance floor was never empty and our guests didn’t want the party to end. His setup is super cool and he had amazing up-lighting for the space. We had also asked DJ John to record the dance set so we could relive the music of our party which he was happy to do. We have been listening to it in the weeks following the wedding and it brings such a smile to our faces. He hit the marks with all of our “moment” songs (first dance, mother/son dances) and was happy to coordinate a surprise dance and speech in recognition of my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary. DJ John made our wedding unforgettable. From the very beginning, John was receptive to our questions, took the time talk with us whenever he needed it and provided an absolutely amazing experience at our wedding. With John, we really felt like he listened to what we wanted and took that to heart all while putting a creative spin on it. Having only spoken to John on the phone, we were a little anxious on our wedding day but he made it easy by greeting us at the venue with a big smile and hug which immediately put as at ease. Our venue in Stinson Beach was challenging to work at, but that didn't deter John. In fact, our wedding coordinator told us that he showed up in the morning (for a ceremony that began at 3:30 PM to make sure everything was seamless. We highly recomend DJ John to anyone looking for someone who will make your big day go off without a hitch. Thank you John for making this day we will never forget!

John was simply the BEST vendor to work with for our wedding. Incredibly thorough, amazing follow up and follow through, and definitely takes care of his clients. I have never had to hire a DJ before and therefore not sure what to expect. John scheduled an initial phone meeting to discuss the basics and what our musical needs were. Being super into music, I already had compiled several playlists for the different portions of the day - ceremony, cocktail/dinner and dancing, and had our songs picked out for the important things like our walks down the aisle, first dance, cake, etc - I loved his appreciation for all the work I’d already done! Thinking we didn’t need to do anything else, I was surprised at how many more times we connected throughout the process! He wanted to discuss details about the timeline, as well as what announcements he will be making and how to pronounce the names of everyone in our wedding party. He also facilitated our shoe game and did a fantastic job asking the questions in a fun way! In addition to music, he set up our logo with a gobo projector, provided uplighting that really transformed the room AND created a kick-ass slideshow of the pictures we sent over to have rolling in the background during our reception. John absolutely went above and beyond with everything related to our big day. Not to mention he had everyone dancing the whole night! I wish I had another event so I could hire him again. I highly HIGHLY recommend DJ John Piazzzaaaaa!!
