DJ Derek was absolutely incredible from the start of the process all the way through the wedding day! Out of the multiple vendor's we had to book for our wedding, DJ Derek is the one I would highly highly recommend to everyone. We first reached out to him for pricing about ~6 months before the wedding, and he was very quick to respond with a various range of prices depending on your budget/ needs. We booked him for our wedding day shortly after, and we are so glad we did. The package we booked included video calls, so we were able to tell him the vibe we were going for and give him a list of music to go off of. You could tell during the calls that he is very passionate about what he does and wanted to provide us the best DJ experience possible for the big day. He provided us forms for must play/don't play and all the other necessities for first dance, father daughter dance, etc. He was very easy to reach and schedule with whenever we had questions or changes that we wanted to make, and he was basically able to make changes up until the day of the wedding. He was very easy to work with and flexible based on your schedule. So when there are a million other things going on in the planning process it is nice to have someone that can work around your schedule so easily.

Now to review the wedding day. In my opinion, one of the most important things for a fun wedding for both yourself and your guests is to have an active dance floor all night. Being able to create an energy that keeps people out on the floor is very important. DJ Derek absolutely delivered on this! Our entire guest list was on the floor from the very first song to the very last unless they had to go sit in front of the fan to cool off for a song. He was able to see what people were enjoying more and mix in more as it went. Every single guest commented on how great he was. When our guests had requests, he was able to perfectly work them in without missing a beat. He really did end our perfect night on such a high note, and we were all so impressed with him. You can see he is passionate about what he does and really put in the time and effort blow our expectations our of the water! I would rank him an 11/10, and I would highly recommend booking him if you want an excellent DJ. Thank you so much DJ Derek!

It was an Indian American wedding in Cancun an I was the only indian from India and all he played for 3 days were bangers from India . Probably has better taste in Indian music than indian djs

What a great surprise for us was to have DJ Derek as our DJ in our wedding. He really knows how to mix and bring out good vibes in the crowd!

Dj Derek was amazing. He kept everyone dancing all night. A true professional. He was extremely acomodating and went above and beyond for us.

Derek was absolutely phenomenal. Our day was a crazy one with rain messing up our original plans of having our wedding outside but truly what saved it all was how amazing our DJ and MC were. Derek made the party so much fun and in the end that’s what everyone remembers that it was a party for the ages. My wife and I truly wanted a party where everyone danced all night and Derek delivered that for us. I highly recommend using him if you can!

We worked with Derek on 2 events- our Sangeet and wedding reception. Prior to the events he met with us, made sure he had all the needed playlists and even gave him own input and ideas on recommendations for when we would need certain songs and things. I found it very easy to communicate with him. He was also so genuine and really seems to enjoy working as a DJ. I would definitely recommend Derek for any events!
