Happenings and Alejandra were great to work with. Alejandra was very prompt to respond and answered every single question I had. The day of our wedding, we had a duet (singer and guitarist) perform at our ceremony. OUT OF THIS WORLD. Our ceremony was even more beautiful with the live music.
Alejandra and her DJ crew rocked it during the cocktail party, and reception. They had the dance floor packed from beginning to the end. The DJ knew exactly what kind of music we liked and played it all night long. I couldn't have asked for a better company to perform at our wedding. We are so happy with our choice. If you want top notch service, do yourself a favor and hire Happenings for your wedding.

We chose Happenings Events & Entertainment and we’re very happy that we did. Happenings is managed by Alejandra Strazzula who is a very sharp lady, speaks great English, and was also the reception MC. She used to work as a resort on-site wedding planner so she knows her stuff and she helped calm our nerves planning a wedding that is to occur a thousand miles away with people we’ve never met in real life, but trust me they’re the real deal.
Alejandra’s team provided us with a violinist for our ceremony, a lit DJ booth, a LED dance floor which was like a magnet to draw people in to dance and some of the kids started dancing on it during dinner before the party even started, LED lights/lasers/fog machine/strobe (the whole party setup), a lighted LOVE letters sign that became a photo magnet for our guests, brought extra lights to light up some architecture of the reception venue our wedding colors of blue and pink, sourced us extra wedding favors at a much lower price than anywhere else, and had dancers in costumes to entertain our guests. Happenings really set themselves apart with the party they put on.
If you’re trying to make a decision on DJ services for your resort wedding in Cancun I highly recommend Happenings, a week later and we’re still hearing comments from guests of how much fun they had and even a request for the party music songs. All of our guests tell us it’s the most fun wedding they’ve ever attended.

I loved this vendor! From the beginning they were very easy to work with and extremely professional. Alejandra (vendor customer service representative) listened to my needs and went above and beyond to make my wedding magical. Before my wedding I compared prices with other vendors and without a doubt this vendor exceeded my expectations with their high quality of work and fair prices. I hired this vendor for 2 events (Welcome Dinner and Wedding) and in both events my guests did not stop dancing since they played a large mix of music styles. I also hired live music from them (for my ceremony and reception) and it both cases the musicians were professional and very talented. Alejandra communicates very well in English and catered to all my requests with proficiency (even to my last minute needs she handled with no hesitation). Their prices are fair and their quality of work is outstanding; from music to lighting they have it all. Definitely will work with them again since I was very pleased with their work.

Happenings made our wedding amazing! They are very easy to work with and take a lot of time before the big day to prepare. They ran the show at the reception making announcements; calling up guests for toasts...they make sure it all gets done. Their entire production quality is top of the line. They set up elaborate lighting and their sound system sounds awesome. Happenings not only kept our guest on the dance floor the whole night but they also kept them entertained with all the extra animation they provided. Hands down the best band in the Cancun area!
