What incredible talent. The sounds of our wedding ... How incredibly amazing. After months of reading reviews and carefully interviewing DJ's for our wedding, we chose Michael Cruz AKA DJ Cuban. He let us know what was he would do and what was expected and he delivered. He arrived on time. Set up the up lighting we requested which made everything so elegant and amazing. Attention to detail was paid! We gave him our play list prior which we were able to do online. The night was amazing. How magical you have made our evening. Thank you so very much. I'm trying to find a reason to have an event and call on you again.

DJ Cuban and his associate were outstanding. They are professional, current, and most importantly, they bring the party to life. I would highly recommend DJ Cuban for any event. DJ Cuban contacted us prior to the wedding and we put together a list of songs we'd like to have played (and not have played) during our reception. In our opinion, DJ Cuban's best quality is his ability to mix songs and create smooth transitions. If you want a DJ to just play song after song with no flow, then hire your friend to play their iPod. If you want a real DJ, with real DJ skills, then spend the money and hire DJ Cuban. You won't go wrong with him.

DJ Cuban (Michael Cruz) was awesome. We loved every single song he played and the way it was mixed. So many people at our wedding commented on the amazing music. He kept the night going and the energy really high with a great mix of music that appealed to our younger and older guests and to our Jewish and Puerto Rican traditions. DJ Cuban is such a nice guy and was just a pleasure to work with. We can't recommend him enough.

DJ Michael Cruz was amazing! He really kept the party going non-stop. So much so that after the last song of the night everyone was chanting "one-more song!... one-more song!." I am sure he would have indulged us however he was professional and made sure we were abiding by the reception venue rules. We really appreciate how flexible he was with our day-of schedule especially because we had some impromptu toasts in between. Awesome service! would recommend to anyone looking for a Wedding DJ in the DMV.

DJ Cuban aka Michael Cruz was AMAZING! Our dance floor was packed even before the bridal party walked in, he played appropriate dinner music and music that got the younger and older crowd going at our wedding. He listened to us and kept the party going. He also does wireless uplighting and mics. He was very professional to work with and a GREAT value. Very respectful and fun. My now husband and I could not recommend him more! Thank you for making our wedding a fantastic unforgettable day!

DJ Cuban was extremely helpful and provided us not just with music, but also lights. He's very organized and gives you helpful tools in order for you to provide him with the music you love. I recommend him to my friends as he's bilingual and has knowledge of my latino culture but also as well as the american culture; he knew how to mix the music very well and made my wedding environment flow.

DJ Cuban was excellent. He is a generally good guy all around, easy to work with and puts forth his best effort. In contrast to some (unnamed) other vendors, he was very responsive, as well as pleasingly proactive. For example, he came out to personally survey the venue since he hadn’t worked there yet before, and did so by coordinating with our schedule and the venue, and did so well in advance of the wedding itself. His online tool for setting up preferred songs, playlists, and un-desired songs was great and easy to use. His ‘persona’ for announcements etc was exciting, professional, and didn’t have any of that ‘cheesy’ factor that some DJs will induce cringing with. He worked the crowd as a DJ at the correct times and managed to get people we didn’t expect to dance out on the dance floor - which can be tough in a smaller (~60-70 people) wedding like ours. He is also (as you might expect from his resume of working many fairly prestigious clubs) an excellent musician and can create mashups and spin with the best of them. We had told him we liked skrillex and dubstep and if it worked for the party we’d love it if he mixed and did some mashups, and he totally obliged with some very impressive well-time improvised on-the-fly mashups. In short; hire him. Great guy, easy to work with/flexible, true professional, and a high calibre musician.
