In the midst of starting a new job, my husband starting a new job, buying a home AND planning a wedding...I would've lost my marbles if I didn't hire Distinct Event Planning. There were times where I was stressed in other areas, but my wedding was one area that was extremely STRESS FREE from planning to the moment I left the venue. To anyone looking for an outstanding event planning team - We had an incredible experience working with Lucretia Williams and Distinct Event Planning. The negotiations went very smoothly, and Lucretia was on top of every aspect of the discussion. She was able to get our agreement authorized, and our deposit to us in a timely and convenient manner. Next we had a detailed conversation with Lucretia on the theme for the event and the tentative agenda, so we knew what we needed to know to help make our role in the event fit well with all the other people and ideas involved. We received a terrific Event Timeline from Lucretia which gave us everything we needed to know to complete our preparation of our song selections and set lists for the evening. We even got from her some helpful insights into the parking and load-in idiosyncrasies of The Ivory Room in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Upon arrival on the event date, we were warmly greeted by Lucretia. The flow and pacing of the event was perfect, and we ended on time. During the course of the evening we received concise and friendly updates from Lucretia as we moved from one segment to another. All in all, between the room and the fabulous view, the marvelous décor, the gorgeous floral arrangements, the personalized table menus and wine bottles, the centerpieces, linens, the decals on the chairs, the beautifully done and very appreciated gift bags at the conclusion, and especially the warmth and charm of the people with whom we enjoyed working, I don’t know how the event could have been improved. As an Entertainment Services Provider, our company does all kinds of events big and small, all over the country and we have worked with the best of the best, as certainly was the was the case in this instance.
