I have known Barbara for a few years now. She helped me plan my 50th wedding anniversary party. She was very professional. She had great ideas. She made individual cakes for each guest and also make truffles that she put in gold boxes. Everything was beautiful and tasted delicious. I would use her again for any party that I was planning.

The wedding cake that Barbara did for our wedding was amazing. The cake was the freshest that I have ever tasted. She does all of her baking from scratch. You don't find many people that do that anymore. She provided me with a taste testing. I tried 6 different flavor cakes and they were all delicious. I had a hard time deciding on flavors. I would use her again for any other cake that I need. She does more than wedding cakes, everyone should check her out.

She was unbelievable! The cake looked and tasted amazing. She also made colored chocolates and cookies for every table.

Do not use this vendor! She was sent to jail for theft in a business setting. Very unprofessional. Our cake was not at all what we agreed upon. It arrived smashed and the cake baker and owner (Barbara Baker) did not even bother to call to let me know. Very upsetting. A grocery store cake would have been a better bet and much more reasonable!!

I met with barbara back in January. We decided to go with her for our wedding because she seemed like she could make a nice simple, yet tasty cake. Fast forward to my wedding day on June 18, 2011. Cake arrived smashed. there were two salvageable layers. It was decorated very sloppily. The quality was awful and guests ended up taking one bite and throwing it away. We went though about 12 slices out of a 500.00 three tier cake. When I saw the cake I was in tears. I called her and of course she avoided my calls. She cashed my check and I should also note that she hounded me for that check for several weeks before the final payment was even due.
Well, when she finally did respond, she offered to refund half (how nice of her, huh?). A month later, I finally get my refund and the check bounces. I will be pursing legal action. AVOID BARBARA BAKER AND DESSERTS R US LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
