Desert Willow did not disappoint when it came to our wedding. My husband and I got married this past October and everything from the venue, to the food, and the service was exceptional. Robbie was a dream to work with and was very helpful throughout the entire process. I received tons of texts from friends and family who attended the wedding commending the entire staff on how attentive, helpful, and professional everyone was. It's always nice to know when your guests notice these details. Everything came together just as we had imagined!

We recently got married at Desert Willow Golf Resort this past November and couldn’t have asked for a better wedding experience. Robbie, the venue coordinator, was wonderful to work with from the start—friendly, flexible, and incredibly accommodating to our needs and vision.

The service, ambiance, and food were all excellent. With about 80 guests, the space felt perfectly suited to our event and created an intimate, elegant atmosphere. Our ceremony on the lawn and reception on the terrace were absolutely beautiful, with the mountains and lush greenery providing a stunning backdrop.

We were able to enjoy the day completely stress-free, and everything ran seamlessly. Our guests raved about the location, food, service, and overall vibe of the venue. On top of all that, we felt the pricing was very fair for the quality and experience we received.

We had been torn between Desert Willow and another venue, and we’re so glad we chose Desert Willow—truly a 10/10 experience.

We got married at Desert Willow Golf Resort on May 2, 2025, and we truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue. From start to finish, the entire day was absolutely magical.

Our ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the golf course and the sparkling lake — the views were breathtaking and created the most serene, picture-perfect backdrop for our vows. Following the ceremony, our guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the terrace, which gave everyone a chance to soak in the desert beauty as the sun set. The evening transitioned seamlessly into our reception in the ballroom, which was elegant, spacious, and beautifully appointed.

A huge shoutout to Robbie, who was an absolute dream to work with. From the very first tour to the day of the wedding, she was incredibly responsive, kind, and truly intuitive — she often knew exactly what I needed before I even had the words to ask. Her experience and calm, confident presence made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free. We utilized her as our day of coordinator and she was worth her weight in gold. She took care of us personally making sure we received drinks and appetizers during cocktail hour, and even gave me a hug and tissues while I bawled my eyes out during the mother/son dance. Her assistant April was super attentive and responsive, making sure everything ran smoothly while Robbie was running around doing her thing. They even packed up all our decorations and made it for an easy pick up for the next day!

And let’s talk about the food — we went with a buffet-style dinner, which can sometimes feel a bit casual, but this was anything but. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the quality and flavor of everything. The menu offered a wide variety of options that catered to all kinds of dietary preferences and restrictions, and every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

Every part of the venue flowed so well together, making for a natural and relaxed experience for both us and our guests. The atmosphere was luxurious but welcoming — exactly what we hoped for on our wedding day.

We wholeheartedly recommend Desert Willow to any couple looking for a stunning setting, excellent service, and a day to remember forever. It was everything we dreamed of and more!

We had an incredible experience and are so fortunate to have our wedding here this past fall. We kicked off the weekend with a round of golf on Friday—the course was beautiful, and the pro shop (shout out to Brian and Jason!) was extremely accommodating. Saturday went off without a hitch. The ceremony on the event lawn was picture-perfect, followed by a lovely cocktail hour on the Palm Desert Terrace. Dinner and dancing on the Lakeview Terrace made for an unforgettable evening. Everything was seamless and beautifully coordinated!
Robbie, (Coordinator/Director of Catering Sales) was truly a magician—her care, attention, and patience over months of planning made all the difference, and she ensured day of unfolded perfectly. Harry, the Banquet Manager, kept every transition between events smooth and effortless, so we could simply enjoy every moment. Thanks to the whole team, we appreciate all of you!

We were married at Desert Willow on April 5th, 2025. I cannot recommend getting married at Desert Willow enough. From the initial meetings with Robbie (who upon meeting her, we were sold on DW), to the scheduling/questions we had, to the tasting, to the day of, I cannot believe how seamless, fun and collaborative Robbie and every staff member at DW was.

Some highlights:
1. ROBBIE!!! Our queen. This wedding would not have happened without her. She is a huge reason we chose DW. She responded to our emails and questions SO QUICKLY and PROMPTLY. She answered any and every question we had. She met us at DW every time we went. She is ON IT! I did not have a single worry that any detail would be forgotten. She is proactive and really controls the day of coordinating in the best way. She is also kind, warm and funny which puts you at ease. Our timeline went perfectly down to the minute. Food served on time, apps on time, drinks on time etc..

2. Food/bar/packages etc. The food was AMAZING. Everyone has reached out to us to tell us. The bar/drinks were amazing. Packages are easy to understand and Robbie really works with you to make sure you can pick and choose what you want. Cost is reasonable.

3. Venue: The entire venue is gorgeous and it's easy for your guests to get from place to place. There's lots of different places for pictures.

Our guests gave us the best feedback and said they had the best time. We cannot believe how well our wedding went and we would not change a single thing.

Just had my wedding here in March 2025 and I could not recommend this venue enough! Robbie was amazing and answered every single question I had during the planning process. If you’re thinking of using Desert Willow as your wedding venue, do it. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience working with Robbie and the rest of the Desert Willow Team. They were extremely responsive, easy going, and had so much to offer.

The venue is beautiful, we got great feedback from our guests on the food (we were too excited to ear), and the cocktails were exceptional. We did two signature cocktails, an espresso martini and a spicy marg. Both 10/10.

Would choose Desert Willow all over again if I had the chance (which I won't, because I found my soul mate).
