Desert Willow was the perfect place for our wedding!! The location was beautiful especially for our spring May wedding. Not only was it a great venue but the service and staff was great. Very attentive and set up everything how i asked. Robbie and Katie, the event coordinators at desert willow, were the best at supporting and helping us in planning our wedding. Highly recommend this place for a wedding.

We were originally drawn to Desert Willow by its beauty, but the real magic behind Desert Willow is Robbie Lomes and Harry Reuter. Robbie has a wealth of knowledge and provided endless suggestions for capturing our vision and making it even better. She was extremely easy to work with and responded to every email or text within a day if not the hour. All of our ideas and desires from the beginning of the planning process to the end were met with a smile and can do attitude by both Robbie and Harry. Unfortunately we experienced some unexpected winds in the morning of our wedding, but Robbie kept in touch throughout the day and suggested a seamless pivot. Harry took care of our every need during the wedding and reception. His entire team of servers and bartenders were true professionals and kept our guests happy throughout the evening. The food was delicious and beautifully presented during our tasting and I wondered if the same would be true at the wedding when 140 guests are being served. Fortunately, my worries were put to rest; the meal even exceeded expectations. Many guests raved about the food. Do not hesitate to put your trust in the Desert Willow team...they are all remarkable!

Robbie Lomes and her staff at Desert Willow provided everything we needed for our dream wedding. The outdoor terraces are stunning and the food and beverage service was first rate. Our guests had a wonderful time at Desert Willow and we were proud to host them at such a fine venue.

Robbie, our day of coordinator, and the whole team at Desert Willow have truly made our dreams come true. The professionalism by all staff is beyond amazing and we can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day dreams come true. The communication was always clear and quick. The grounds are immaculate and stunning! I highly recommend having the reception on the terrace to capture the real beauty of the venue. Robbie and the team made all days leading up to our wedding, as well as our actual day so easy and stress free. Robbie was always in contact with our other vendors which made for a smooth and flawless day. We cannot wait to come back to Desert Willow and enjoy lunch on the terrace and reminisce on our PERFECT our wedding day was. Thank you Desert Willow for making our wedding dreams come true!

Robbie and Kati were amazing ! They responded at all hours in a timely manner always. The night of the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. From set up to take down. They did it all and made our night so effortless for us! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue. It’s beyond beautiful and the whole setup is perfect. We could not have asked for a better coordinator and staff and venue! It was all perfect !

We had a magical wedding at Desert Willow! The venue was gorgeous and a great value. Guests raved about the food. Robbie was incredible and is an absolute pro at her job. She responded so quickly to every question we had and we felt like we were in great hands the whole time. Don’t hesitate to book your wedding here! And do your ceremony on the terrace with the palm trees as your background (the photos are amazing). :)

I cannot fave enough about this venue and their incredible staff. The wedding and events manager, Robbie, was so responsive to all our questions and request during the entire wedding planning process. She truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to efficiently respond and assure you have the most spectacular and seamless day.

Our guests were so impressed with the bar and waiting staff, there was never an empty glass and everyone felt like they were getting special treatment. The chef was also a superstar, the food absolutely rocked.

It is rare to find a venue that delivers on all fronts - views/amenities, food quality, service quality and planning/management.

I recommend Desert Willow and Robbie Lomes for day of coordination time and time again!!!

Our wedding on 12-15-23 at desert willow was magical! All of our guests had such a great time! They raved about the food, cocktails, and of course the amazing venue set up and views!
We got Robbie as our wedding coordinator and we could not recommend her enough! She was very helpful to us during the whole process. She set up all the decor for us and it was exactly how I envisioned out special day to look! Definitely book with all the lovely people at this resort, you won't be disappointed!

Robbie at Desert Willow kept us informed of everything going on for the wedding. She responded quickly to all questions and went over all of our options thoroughly. On the day of the wedding everything went smoothly and as was planned. I was so pleased with the excellent food , the beautiful room, and smooth set up for the vendors. I highly recommend Desert Willow!!

My husband and I attended a wedding here in 2022 and it was one of the most beautifully done events we had ever been to. That was also our first introduction to Robbie, who actually seals the deal on us choosing this venue.
Desert Willow was the last stop on my desert venue search, and I definitely saved the best for last. Not only is it stunning but the staff is so informative kind and thorough for their response time can’t be beat, they are so accommodating, and you truly feel special in their care.

After checking several locations in Palm Desert, we came across Desert Willow Golf Resort and instantly knew it was meant to be. We were introduced to Robbie as the events planner and is she absolutely amazing- she helped me every step of the way from vendor recommendations to making sure my wedding day went perfect. The venue, food, and ambiance were absolutely amazing. The DWGR staff was so accommodating and kind during our wedding, my guests couldn’t get over how amazing the staff was. I had my dream wedding at DWGR because of Robbie and I can’t recommend her and the venue enough.

Oh my gosh, our wedding at Desert Willow was so magical. This venue is absolutely stunning, the food was INCREDIBLE, the staff working our wedding from set up to finish were so great. Robbie our coordinator was amazing from day one. She handled everything for us & helped our vision come to life. We are so grateful we chose Desert Willow for our special day!

If you are searching for the most perfect, gorgeous, stunning, flawless Palm Springs wedding venue to fulfill your wedding day dreams… look no further. We had our wedding at Desert Willow 11/10/2023 and I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about that day. (I am 29 and my husband is 28 just for reference). Every single one of our vendors did an AMAZING job so I think I have the perfect recipe.

Robbie Lomes, Desert Willow’s wedding coordinator, was INCREDIBLE. We had her as our ‘day of’ coordinator but whenever I had questions or needed help with anything, she responded to each text message within minutes. Sometimes within seconds! She was so kind, so helpful, and incredibly skilled at what she does. Not only did she handle every little detail on the day of, but she also made sure to check in with me regarding my highly anxious mental state and took the time to help calm my nerves. She’s an angel, my wedding day was absolute perfection because of Robbie.

FLORIST: Karin Williams - Prism Floral Design
Karin made all of my floral dreams come true. She is a true artist. I was a bit weary of the fact that she doesn’t offer to do mock ups prior to the event, but I had faith and I was definitely NOT disappointed! I gave her a few examples of what my vision was and she was able to execute it stunningly. I couldn’t have been happier with how they turned out!

INCREDIBLE. He and his team mate Alex were awesome. They are so efficient. When it came to doing bridal party & family photos before / after ceremony… in and out, boom done, on to the next one. We didn’t have to spend 2 hours trying to wrangle everyone in for photos, they got sh** done! It was epic. They did an engagement shoot included in the package and also a night / cigar photoshoot during reception hours. The pictures are to die for. I would recommend this dynamic duo 1000x over to any and everyone.

DJ: DJ Chris Paul
Chris Paul has worked many a dozen weddings at Desert Willow. He knows the in’s and out’s of that venue like the back of his hand. He is extremely talented at his craft. He had no issues with us curating our own playlists for each portion of the event and played everything we asked him to! And even with our playlists being tailored more towards the hip hop / rap genre, he knew exactly how to incorporate other tracks in there to keep everyone up and dancing. There was never a dull moment on the dance floor and that is always a big fear right?! DJ Chris Paul is a heck of a guy. Super kind and charming. I feel like we could be bff’s. 10/10 recommend.

LIGHTING: Joe Antillon - XIL Productions
The uplighting isn’t totally necessary but wow was it worth it! Joe does the lighting for Desert Willow for a ton of their events there. He and Robbie work together often. It was a really easy process to select what kind of lighting I wanted and Joe was able to give me exactly what I asked for. It’s a little extra $$$ but he really made the ballroom look magical.

MAKE UP: Nancy Zinzun
Robyn & Nancy each have their own individual business and I had booked them separately. Luckily, they had been hired to service the same weddings before so they knew who each other were! These 2 ladies made myself, all my bridesmaids, & the moms look STUNNING! They are exceptional. My hair and my makeup were exactly what I asked for and I could not stop looking in awe at how gorgeous my bridesmaids looked. Absolute smoke show. Robyn & Nancy will turn you into a supermodel on the most special day of your life!!

PHOTOBOOTH: Danny Morin - Party Life
Danny has also worked with Desert Willow for dozens of weddings providing his photobooth services. It was again a super simple process to book with him and all of the guests loved it. It’s a fun little addition to the entertainment aspect of the evening. I’m glad we decided to incorporate it into the reception.

Each and every one of these vendors I had selected myself worked seamlessly together. They are the dream team. Throughout this whole planning process I was accepting that at least a few things would go wrong. That there would definitely be a couple hiccups… NOT A SINGLE ONE. Maybe I’m low maintenance I’m not sure, but when everyone is saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to… I’ll take that (:

We can not even begin to describe how much of an incredible experience we had during our wedding. Robbie our coordinator was absolutely amazing. Any time we had questions or needed something done she was immediately on top of it and made our big day as smooth as possible. We could have not picked a better venue and team to help us celebrate the best day of our lives. Robbie is truly a great coordinator to work with and helped the day/night go smoothly leaving my bride and I nothing to worry about. Her and her staff we more than accommodating and we are truly thankful for them. I wanted to give shoutouts to the staff: Harry (Banquet Manager), Fernando (Banquet Captain), Sal (F & B Manager), Bartenders (Nelson, Julia, Miguel, and Gilbert ), Chef Francois and Chef Gustavo and the Kitchen Team, Banquet servers including Filipe, Carlos, Karen, Brian and the rest of the staff. I will always recommend anyone thinking of getting married in Palm Springs to Desert Willow because they made the whole process leading up to the wedding stress free and fun!

If you are considering The Palm Desert area, you must meet the excellent team at Desert Willow. From the sales staff to the banquet staff to the golf folks - every encounter was consummate professional. Any inquiries were promptly managed. Our guests, the whole bridal party and family were very complimentary on every aspect of my daughter's wedding. I would never hesitate to plan any other events at Desert Willow with Natalie & Robbie. The Wedding Packages they offer allowed us the flexibility to customize our food & beverages. The lighting and stage design by Joe was superior and added the best ambiance we could have imagined for the nighttime.

Our wedding was absolutely amazing! It was everything we wanted and more! We feel so blessed to have had such an incredible experience team help us make our dream wedding come to life!

We had an amazing experience at Desert Willow! We loved the support from Robbie leading up to our big day. We chose to have our ceremony and reception outdoors and our guests raved about the view. We had a fantastic night celebrating!

From the booking to the day leading to our big day Robbie Lomes our coordinator was the best of the best!!! She made our whole day and experience amazing. She made sure our day was one to remember. Our guest Bragged about the delicious food ! The whole staff was also very friendly. Will definitely be booking future events here!!!

We were married here yesterday and it was the best! Robbie was incredibly helpful coordinating, making recommendations, and making the wedding planning process as seamless as it can be. The venue is gorgeous and truly more spectacular IRL. The food was amazing - so many of our guests let us know that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Wouldn’t chance a thing about the day!

My husband and I have not a single regret about our wedding at Desert Willow. We are in awe at how attentive and accommodating the staff were. What a stunning venue. So many guests were raving for days later at the meals and the view from the terrace. Everything was perfect.

From the beginning of booking this venue to the BIG DAY it was just magical. Robbie and Natalie literally were a huge help and were always available to answer questions. Robbie was our wedding planner and she is truly simply amazing!!! She made sure our big day was magical. Our guest loved the views of the venue and were extremely satisfied with how great and delicious the food was.
